General Policy The Rules and Regulations of the Scarsdale Pool Complex are guidelines that are enforced to ensure the safety and well being of those patrons who visit our pool complex. The Scarsdale Parks, Recreation & Conservation Department reserve the right to confiscate any permit for reasons of abuse of pool rules or pool staff. 1. The Department reserves the right to clear the pool area during threat of electrical storms or any other potentially hazardous situations. If this occurs, there will be NO refunds for guest fees or single use fees including but not limited to: birthday parties, and one time scheduled events. 2. The management cannot be held responsible for the loss or theft of any personal belongings. 3. Food and beverages are only permitted in the snack bar and picnic areas. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted anywhere inside the complex or on the property. 4. No solicitation, petitioning, distribution of handbills or other non-recreation Department oriented activity is permitted inside the pool area. This will only be allowed outside the pool complex with permission from the Village Manager. 5. Permit holders must show permits in order to gain admittance to the pool complex. A guest fee will be charged to those forgetting their pass. 6. The Scarsdale Municipal Pool Complex staff are the only individuals allowed to organize and implement public and private swim lessons in any pool at the complex. No guests are allowed to enter the facility and teach swim lessons. 7. No glass of any kind is permitted inside the Pool Complex. 8. Smoking is not permitted within the pool complex, including entrances and in front of the building. 9. Any group wishing to utilize the pool facility for any special occasion, must fill out a request form and be approved by the Scarsdale PRC. Approval for special uses will be considered only for purposes that benefit the pool facility, and do not interfere with ordinary use by members. 13.
