A. DATE AND PLACE The 1 st Sanda Asian Cup will be held from December 15 th to 16 th, 2017 in Foshan, China. B. VENUE 1. Competition venue: Gaoming Sports Center Stadium 2. Training venue: Gaoming Sports Center Stadium C. COMPETITION EVENTS 1. Men s event: 48Kg, 52Kg, 56Kg, 60Kg, 65Kg, 70Kg, 75Kg, 80Kg, 85Kg, 90Kg, 90Kg+ 2. Women s event: 48Kg, 52Kg, 56Kg, 60Kg, 65Kg, 70Kg D. QUALIFICATIONS 1. The top 3 winners (including tied of 3 rd place) of each above listed weight category from the 9 th Asian Wushu Championships are eligible to participate. 2. WFA Technical Committee shall assign athletes to participate if vacancy available after registration. E. ENTRY METHOD 1. Each qualified athlete must submit their entry via their respective National Wushu Federation. 2. Accompanying Team Officials: Teams that have 1-3 qualified athletes may submit 2 team officials at most. Teams that have 4-5 qualified athletes may submit 3 team officials at most. Teams that have 6-7 qualified athletes may submit 4 team officials at most. Teams that have 7 or more qualified athletes may submit 5 team officials at most. F. COMPETITION METHOD 1. The single knockout system will be adopted. If the number of competitors is 3 or less, a single round-robin method will be adopted. 2. Following arrival and registration, the athletes will go through the initial weighing-in and drawing lots formalities as stipulated in the schedule. 3. The competition will be conducted in accordance with the updated IWUF Rules for International Wushu Sanda Competition. 2
G. COSTUME AND EQUIPMENT 1. Athletes shall wear costumes and protective gear in compliance with the rules to participate in the competition. 2. Each competitor is required to possess their own mouth guard, hand wraps, groin cup and two (2) sets of competition costumes: one set in blue and one set in red. 3. Gloves will be provided by the Organizing Committee. 4. For this event, only men s athletes will not wear head guards and chest protectors. H. DOPING CONTROL 1. Doping control will be conducted during the 1 st Asian Sanda Cup according to the requirements of the IOC and World Anti-Doping Agency, and will follow the procedure prescribed in the IWUF Anti-Doping Rules. The number of tests will be decided by the WFA. If an athlete is found have positively doped through the doping process, he/she will be dealt with in accordance with the IWUF Anti-Doping Rules. I. PLACING AND AWARDS The top 3 athletes of each weight category will be awarded. 1. 1st place: Gold Medal, Certificate & USD 1,500.00 Prize Money. 2. 2nd place: Silver Medal, Certificate & USD 1,000.00 Prize Money. 3. 3rd place: Bronze Medal, Certificate & USD 500.00 Prize Money. The deadline for the final entry to be completed through the online system is on October 31 st, 2017 before 24:00 (Beijing Time). 3

All final entries must be submitted through the WFA Online Registration System and shall be completed in English, entries must be signed by the President or Secretarygeneral of the National Federation with seal. 5. Each team is required to print three copies, one to be submitted to WFA Secretariat, one to be submitted to the Organizing Committee and one to be presented upon registration. Late entries must be approved by the Wushu Federation of Asia, once approved, USD100.00 will be charged per applicant. 7. Each participate teams shall arrive and register on December 13 th, 2017, exact locations and contact person will be announced via WFA website prior departure. K. TECHNICAL OFFICIALS 1. The Organizing Committee shall be responsible for the organization of the championships under the guidance of the WFA Executive Committee and Technical Committee. 2. The technical officials will be appointed by the WFA technical committee, and they are required to arrive and register no later than December 13 th, 2017, exact locations and contact person will be announced via WFA website prior departure. L. TECHNICAL MEETING AND DRAWING 4
The technical meeting for team managers and coaches will take place at 09:00 (Beijing Time) on December 14, 2017 during which all matters related to the competition will be announced, drawing will be occurred after the meeting. Each team should send two representatives to attend this meeting. M. OTHER MATTERS 1. Valid Health Certificates of all athletes valid 20 days before the competition (including EEG, ECG, Pulse and Blood Pressure Reports), Life Accidental Injury Insurance Certificate and Waiver of Liabilities. Athletes cannot participate without any of the above. 2. Each participating teams travel expenses shall be borne by the participants themselves to the arrival location. The Organizing Committee will provide accommodation, meal and local transportation for athletes and team officials during the competition period. All other participants travelling with a team will be required to pay for their own accommodation and meal. 3. Each team must strictly abide the rules and regulations for fair competition. Those who violate the provisions will be dealt with in strict accordance with the relevant provisions of the Party. 4. The power of interpretation of the Rules rests solely with the WFA. In the event of discrepancies in the interpretation of the Rules, the Chinese Text shall prevail. 5. Each team is required to bring the following: 3 x National flags, regional flags or federation flags (1m 2m); National anthem or federation song on CD; 3 x 2 color photos (passport size) per team member; Final Entry Form and athlete s questionnaire. 5
