Quality older cows saw strong demand. It was noticeable that the continuing cold and wet weather conditions had a slight effect on the trade for leaner and or lower yielding cattle. In calf heifers 7-8 months in calf saw a rip roaring trade topping at 1208. 3-4 Months in calf heifers saw a much stronger than in recent weeks and were very much sought after with served heifers also selling well.
