registration Categories Main Race - 5km Open Mixed Senior 5 Runners per team 4 Male + 1 Female OR 5 Male 1 Male + 4 Female OR 2 Male + 3 Female OR 3 Male + 2 Female OR 5 Female * CEO Race - 1.5km A maximum of 2 C-level runners per company Female > 35 yrs Male > 45 yrs * Cheering & Team Spirit - A maximum of 10 per team - MUST be employees of the company *Complimentary with minimum commitment of 1 Team for Main Race Registration starts from 1.00pm to 2.30pm. Team leaders/representatives can collect their CEO/team s runners pack on their behalf. *Signed indemnity forms for all runners MUST be presented for collection of runners pack. 5 T-shirt Collection (after registration) Please take note that sizes given are according to the forms submitted, while stocks last. Exchange of size can be done on the spot, subject to availability. Substitution: Substitution of registered runners is not encouraged. However, should this happen, a fresh tag will not be issued to the substitute. The substitute runner must wear the tag belonging to the registered runner who he/she is substituting. Substitution of runners must conform to the requisite number of female/male runners or required age in the registered category. The category that the team is registered in cannot be changed. Any substitution must be notified by using the prescribed substitution form which must be submitted to the registration counter on Race Day by 2.30pm. Replacement runner must be of the same gender as registered runner.

Running Bibs / Timing chips / Registration Tags TEMG S801 The Edge TEMG M101 The Edge Blue Senior Green Mixed TEMG B501 The Edge CEO040 The Edge Red Open Yellow CEO Running bibs are strictly not transferrable or exchangeable. 7 EACH NUMBERED RACE BIB AND REGISTRATION TAG IS ASSIGNED TO A SPECIFIC RUNNER. Please refer to the list provided in the pack to check which race number has been assigned to which runner in your team. Wearing another runner s race bib will cause errors in your team s results. Each runner will have one numbered race bib. Runners need to pin the race bibs on the front of their attire. Please pin the race bibs on all four (4) corners - the numbers on the bibs must be clearly visible. Extra safety pins are available at the registration counter. The electronic timing chip is attached to the back of the running bib. Kindly do not remove. Runners MUST step onto the timing mat at the START/FINISH & checkpoint. Results will be tabulated according to nett time, NOT gun time. Runners are required to wear their registration tag during the post-race dinner and prize presentation, and not during the race.

Baggage Service / Attire Runners are encouraged to run in their corporate attire, with the exception of running / sport shoes for safety purposes. Shorts / Leggings / Tights / Track pants / Sports bottoms (skirts included) are not encouraged. However, runners who wish to do so will not be penalised. Each team is encouraged to display their own corporate identity, i.e. company blazers/jackets, caps, ties, headbands, etc. Best Dressed CEOs, Teams and Supporters will be judged based on creativity and how best it represents the company and industry. The Kuala Lumpur Rat Race is a registered trademark and companies participating in the Race are not permitted to print the Rat Race logo onto race attire, banners or any other collateral items. Runners may deposit/collect their belongings at the baggage tents from 1.00pm 5.00pm. Bags must be collected before adjourning to dinner. All bags not collected after 5.00pm will be donated or disposed of at the organiser s discretion. 9 At the tent, present your registration tag when depositing and collecting your belongings. A numbered card will be given to you. A corresponding numbered tag will be attached to your bag and stored. Runners deposit their belongings at their own risk. The organisers will not be held liable for any loss and/or damage.
Race Day Health and Safety Runners are advised to have breakfast and an early lunch. Do not consume a big meal 2 hours before the race. Keep well hydrated before the race. Continue to sip water/isotonic drinks during the course of the race. Wear shoes that are appropriate and comfortable for your run. Any runners who have any allergies or are feeling uncomfortable, visit the medic tent and inform the doctor. (Location : Legend 6 on Layout Map) Safety personnel can be spotted along the route, flag one down if you feel uncomfortable or unwell. Runners are advised to run at your own pace. Do not overexert and push your body. 10 Ensure you run along the route that has been cordoned off as there will be vehicles moving along the route.
Dinner and Prize Presentation Dinner will be available at the R&R Tent from 5.00pm onwards. Thereafter, prize giving presentation will commence.
