From the President GBFA has done it again. The ninth and best Fishing Flea Mkt Event ever. This year s turnout for both vendors and customers was in line with last year s event. Friday setup and vendor help went without any mix-ups. The pizzas did not last long. Next year we will have to get more. I think a few good deals were had Friday night. The line prior to opening was out of sight. Entry into the event was flawless. Throughout the day business was great. At the end of the event we had the place cleared in less than an hour. Great Job to all. I want to thank all the GBFA members who have helped thru out the year with the preparation for the event; I want to thank those members who helped at the event, both Friday and Saturday, 70 average at both; and I want to thank Butch especially for the over the top effort he has put forth this year planning and putting this event together and the last eight. Remarks I have received from the vendors at the event are the same as last year; best event in VA, great membership participation at event, if you need help just ask a GBFA member and your problem will be solved, only event where there is help loading and unloading for the vendors and cannot wait till next. The overall reply from customers was WOW.

Nautical Ned's Belly Bender Corner Short Funnies 1. A woman gets on a bus with her baby. The bus driver says: ''Ugh, that's the ugliest baby I've ever seen!'' The woman walks to the rear of the bus and sits down, fuming. She says to a man next to her: ''The driver just insulted me!'' The man says: ''You go up there and tell him off. Go on, I'll hold your monkey for you.'' 2. A young blonde woman is distraught because she fears her husband is having an affair, so she goes to a gun shop and buys a handgun. The next day she comes home to find her husband in bed with a beautiful redhead. She grabs the gun and holds it to her own head. The husband jumps out of bed, begging and pleading with her not to shoot herself. Hysterically the blonde responds to the husband, ''Shut up...you're next!'' 3. A couple going on vacation but his wife was on a business trip so he went to the destination first and his wife would meet him the next day. When he reached his hotel, he decided to send his wife a quick email. Unfortunately, when typing her address, he mistyped a letter and his note was directed instead to an elderly preacher s wife whose husband had passed away only the day before. When the grieving widow checked her email, she took one look at the monitor, let out a piercing scream, and fell to the floor in a dead faint. At the sound, her family rushed into the room and saw this note on the screen: Dearest Wife, Just got checked in. Everything prepared for your arrival tomorrow. P.S. Sure is hot down here.
