Parent/Guardian Do not leave children unattended. Monitor children in hallway no running, climbing, or entering rooms. Watch class through observation windows - when it is not parent watch day. Be available during class to take child to rest room or if needed for an emergency.
Infant/Toddler Pool Policy MUST WEAR plastic pants with snug fitting legs over a cloth or swim diapers ( under 3 years old) Parent needs to check the diaper frequently during swimming Notify the lifeguard and exit pool immediately if feces is found or child spits up in the pool
First Day Pre-School & School Age Classes Arrive at the Pemberton Campus Parking lot 12 (P.E. Building) Be on time Sign In Child at Swimming Table Confirm correct phone number/name Complete cards (purple pre-school /white school age) Sign assumption of risk /release/photo form Child enters through gender appropriate locker room or pool door and sits on bleacher
Be on time First Day Aqua Tot and Adult Classes Children 3 and under with Adult enter through locker room to pool enclosure and sits on bleachers No earlier than 5 minutes before class time Sign In Child at the desk or with the instructor in the pool area
Locker Room Procedures Children enter through gender appropriate locker room or pool door and sit on bleacher Do not leave valuables in the locker room Lock lockers during use and then remove Children will be dismissed to their parents in the pool area In the Women s Locker Room Boy s should change in the Baby area In the Men s Locker Room Girls should change in the Baby area
