FIRST-AID MEASURES General Advice Eye Contact Skin Contact Inhalation Ingestion Provide this SDS to medical personnel for treatment. After first aid, get appropriate in-plant, paramedic, or community medical support. Immediately flush with plenty of water. After initial flushing, remove any contact lenses and continue flushing for at least 5 minutes. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. Wash with soap and water. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Discard items which cannot be decontaminated, including leather articles such as shoes, belts and watchbands. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If breathing has stopped, give artificial respiration. Get medical attention immediately. Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Seek medical advice. Self-Protection of the First Aider First Aid responders should pay attention to self-protection and use the recommended protective clothing (chemical resistant gloves, splash protection). If potential for exposure exists refer to Section 8 for specific personal protective equipment. Page 2 / 7
