SNAG is a great program to get new people into golf. It uses properly weighted oversized equipment to teach golf to beginners safely. Because of the way the equipment is designed it makes it easier for new golfers to hit the balls and keeps them engaged to want to play more. Also we will use this equipment indoors and outdoors which means Jay can develop golf programs in school gyms during the winter months. This should increase the number of kids in our Junior Program. But remember its not just for kids. If any one would like to help out with ordering the equipment we need that would be greatly appreciated. Golf Pro Jay has all the details on the program and equipment and if anyone has any questions please do not hesitate to call him. Thank You
Sunday September 20th We will be playing a Ryder Cup match vs. Cedar Creek. Match will be played at Ottumwa Country Club There will be a pairings party on Saturday night September 19th. Jay will be contacting members to participate in what will hopefully become an annual event. Be prepared to fulfill your duty as an OCC Member and rise to the challenge. The Past is history, the Future is a mystery, today is a gift.. That s why the call it the Present. -Dave M.- Ottumwa Country Club 304 E. Golf Ave. 641-684-5491 Www.ottumwacoutryclub.com
