Welcome to White Eagle Owners Club Tennis! White Eagle Owners Club tennis courts are for the exclusive use of White Eagle homeowners and should only be used for playing tennis. While in the past classes have been limited to White Eagle residents, this summer some classes will be open to guests as well. Please read through your copy of the 2012 Spring and Summer schedule to explore the many classes and activities we will be offering this year at the Owners Club. The tennis staff at White Eagle is here to provide you with a quality tennis program through both social and competitive match play that is geared towards those of all ages and skill levels. There is sure to be something to fit your needs. If you have a special request for a class or activity, feel free to contact Bill Dahm, Director of Tennis at the Tennis Cabana, 820-5966, and we will try to adapt our resources to better fit your needs. General Class Information: New for this summer: select tennis classes will be open to both White Eagle residents and their guests. This provides an exciting new opportunity to include friends from other communities in your summer activities! More information about this opportunity will be available upon request at the Tennis Cabana. Throughout the season, we will try to maintain a ratio of one instructor for every six students in the class. There must be a minimum of four registered, pre-paid students in order to run a class. Please indicate specific dates on your registration form if you know that you or your child will be absent from a class because of travel so that your class fees can be pro-rated. Also, note that all lessons must be prepaid. No one will be allowed in lessons if a payment has not been made. If you or your child is unexpectedly absent from a class due to illness, injury or other unanticipated event, please contact Bill Dahm at the Tennis Cabana so that we can arrange for you or your child to attend another class at the appropriate level. No refunds will be issues for withdrawals after the first scheduled class except for in cases of illness/injury, accompanied by a doctor s note. Withdrawal requests should be submitted to the director of tennis. If a class is rained out, every attempt will be made to make it up. Specific make up dates will be given at the following class or you will be notified by email or phone. Classes will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. You will be contacted by phone or email** prior to the start of each session only if that class is not going to run. Registration Information: We ask that you register for all programs at least one week prior to their start- this includes lessons, special activities and tournaments. We continue to add new students throughout the session if there are openings in order to accommodate new residents and those who have changed their summer schedules. Two registration forms can be found in the back of this handbook. Additional forms are available at the Tennis Cabana. Please complete your registration form and either: drop it in the box by the Owners Clubhouse or mail it to Baum Property Service, P.O. Box 46, Aurora, IL, 60507. 3
