Supplementary Regulations, Dear Competitor, On behalf of the Carrick on Suir Motor Club, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Waterford, for the 45 th staging of the Ravens Rock Rally. The Ravens Rock Rally is promoted and organised by the Carrick on Suir Motor Club Ltd., The rally is a qualifying round of the Suirway Group South East Stages Rally Championship, the Plastic bags.ie Southern 4 Rally Championship and the Carrick on Suir Motor Club Championship. It will take place over a route of approximately 100 stage kms. 2 stages repeated 3 times The event will commence with a ceremonial start in the heart of Waterford City, on Saturday evening the 26 th June at 19.30 hrs, approx... Introducing the ceremonial start to the Rally is an attempt to raise the profile of rallying to the people of Waterford City and County. It has grown in popularity, and now forms an integral part of showcasing the cars and the drivers of the rally to the general public. The ceremonial start also gives the club the opportunity to highlight our event sponsors, without whom it would not be possible to hold the rally. We would like to thank our main sponsors, Waterford City and County Council, Dooley s Hotel, Suirway Group, Port of Waterford Company, and all our associate sponsors, AD Test Centre, Keltech Engineering, Tom Geraghty Tyres, Kilsheelan Limestone Quarries, and all the people who help and support us this year and over the previous years, without their help and support we would not be able to run this event. We would also like to thank our volunteers, Marshals, Doctors, Rescue, Ambulance personnel, Gardai, Officials Ballybricken Traders, and office staff to name but a few, for all their help, without which this event would not be able to run. Equally it is important to acknowledge that there would be no Ravens Rock Rally without the support and good-will of all the residents and businesses in Waterford City and County along the rally route, and the surrounding areas. I want to thank them for their co-operation and assistance, and ask all visitors to the Rally to please respect private property, spectate safely, and bring home all litter, Thanks also to Waterford City & County Council, an Garda Siochana, and all who have been very supportive of this event. This is an event with two stage locations, run three times on very good tarmac roads on Sunday, approximately 100km of stages, with centralised servicing, in a very compact route. Service will be after stages, 1 & 2, and 3 & 4. With pace note making on the Saturday. We look forward to meeting you all in Waterford Terence Kearney, Clerk of the Course, Page 1
