IMAGE: JULIAN BARKER The Visitors DONCASTER ROVERS BELLES Belles have put 2016 s relegation from the FA WSL1 firmly behind them and, after a resurgent Spring Series, have taken FA WSL2 by storm. They currently lead the table with an unbeaten run of 5 wins and 2 draws. They are also WSL2 top scorers, averaging 3.3 goals per game. Their run of form is particularly impressive in light of the managerial changes that they have contended with this season. Emma Coates left the club in October with Kate Rowson taking interim charge. In December 2017, Neil Redfearn was then appointed as Head Coach. Although this is his first taste of women s football, Redfearn has managed both Leeds United and Rotherham United in the Championship. Redfearn s side will also have to adapt to life without top scorer and November WSL2 player of the month Christie Murray, who left the club at the end of 2017.
