Scott McDaniel STAT Baseball Stadium Hall of Fame Induction Sports Travel and Tours is looking ahead to 2013 and the next class to be inducted into the STAT Baseball Stadium Hall of Fame. Our most recent class (2009) was our largest ever twenty six lucky travelers were honored during the Hall of Fame s Induction Weekend. The ceremony is traditionally held at the Bullpen Theatre at the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Sports Travel and Tours developed this program for fans that have attended games in all 30 Big League ballparks on STAT Baseball Road Trips and F.I.T.s. We hear from our avid baseball fans all the time that their dream is to see a game in every stadium, said Jay Smith, President of Sports Travel and Tours. So we contacted the Hall of Fame and they agreed to assist us to honor these special fans. Twenty four members of the class were able to attend the 2009 ceremony in Cooperstown which left a lasting impression on the inductees, their family and friends, Sports Travel and Tours employees and the staff of the Baseball Hall of Fame. We also welcomed back six members of our previous Stadium Hall of Fame classes, who took part in the ceremony. With the success of the 2009 event, STAT currently has over 30 possible inductees, some needing as few as one ballpark visit to be honored. Others will need the four years to cross off their remaining stadium visits.
