Greetings, The Greater Cincinnati Flying Disc Association in partnership with Cincinnati Park District would like to invite you to participate in the celebration of the 100 th anniversary of Mt. Airy Forest. Mt. Airy Forest s 1,471 acres account for 40% of the Cincinnati Park system and is registered with the National Historic Society as our nation s very first large scale urban reforestation project. The GCFDA in partnership with the Professional Disc Golf Association and Cincinnati Parks will be hosting a two day tournament on 8/20 and 8/21 to celebrate the Centennial anniversary of the park, it s contribution to the sport of disc golf, to raise funds to renovate the current disc golf course, and make it ground zero for the first ever Global Disc Golf Tournament. Participants in this tournament will be competing amongst one another as well as hundreds of other players from around the world utilizing a round rating system that originates at Mt. Airy Forest during the 1998 World Championship, It is our ambition to make the event at Mt. Airy Forest the headquarters and tournament central for this historic event but we need help from sponsors like you to make this happen. To make the Mt. Airy Forest Centennial Open ground zero for the first ever Global Tournament, the GCFDA in partnerships with Cincinnati Park District is in process of renovating the course to bring it to modern day championship status. This renovation effort provides a rare and unique opportunity to acquire signage within a public park for your company for a minimum of 5 years! We also have many other marketing opportunities to meet your needs and fit your budget. Fifty percent of all funds raised will go directly into the course, covering the cost of tee pads, tee signs, and baskets. The remaining half of your sponsorship will go to prizes, t- shirts, promotional material, and the purse to help attract top talent from around the nation to this event and your business. Course Sponsor-$2,000 Course Sponsorship As the Course Sponsor, your organization will receive the benefit of having your company name/logo on all Tee Signs for a guaranteed minimum of ten years. You will also receive a life time advertisement and link on the GCFDA website (20K visits a month) to your website if applicable. In the event of damage or vandalism, the sign(s) will be replaced without cost to you. Below is an example of a permanent tee sign, tee signs are 12 X18 displaying the layout of the hole including the par. Your organization s logo will be prominently displayed on the sign. Every player who steps up to the tee will see your company s name and logo for the next decade to come. All funds go directly to the course renovation effort. Hole Sponsor-$300 As a course sponsor you will receive five year signage in the form of a permanent tee sponsorship, guaranteed for a minimum of five years. Your company name/logo will appear on aluminum 9 X12 sign, similar to a no parking sign. The sign will be displayed under the Tee Sign at one hole on the course. All of your sponsorship funds will go to course renovation efforts.
Tournament Sponsorship Event Sponsor-$500 As an Event Sponsor, your organization will receive the benefit of having your company name/logo on all tournament publications. Temporary signage for the event will be provided and the right to display any banners or fliers you provide. You will also receive a one year advertisement and link on the GCFDA website (20K visits a month) to your website if applicable. Finally, you ll receive five year signage in the form of a permanent tee sponsorship, guaranteed for a minimum of five years (See Hole Sponsorship Above). Tournament Temporary Tee Sponsor-$50 As a Tournament tee sponsor we will print a temporary 18 X24 tee sign displaying your customized logo, picture, and or name. Simply send us what you want on the sign and we ll work with a professional print shop and display it on your behalf. In addition, your name will be mentioned in the program as a tournament sponsor. Individual Sponsor-$25 As an individual supporter you ll name will be listed in the tournament program and you may opt to receive a limited edition, full color stamped collectors disc displaying a signature hole on the course.
