SUPERNATS - Prize pool split evenly between male & female Snr male/female $625 each - Int male/female $525 each - Jnr male/female $325 each. 50% payback is kept in classes which riders entered. Pay out to 11th place (1st, 2nd, 3rd in B final if run). FACILITY REGULATIONS: Please read the Clubs regula,ons on the sign board to the side of the start hill. Parking Parking management is being done by the local sports club as a fundraising event. The onsite parking is $2 per car per day & opens form 6.30am, please help another club who is helping us. During this event the New Plymouth BMX Facility is a Smoke & Alcohol Free venue. This excludes the carpark & the camping areas. All team pit & food areas, track area & surrounds will be smoke & alcohol free as all mes. BMXNZ, The Taranaki Region & New Plymouth BMX Club will take all possible steps to list and evaluate hazards and to determine solu,ons to eliminate or minimise those hazards as part of the Risk Management Plan (RMP), to meet the sports policy noted above. BMX Racing is an ac,on sport & inherently has risks that are accepted as part of sport. All known risks are noted in the BMXNZ Major Mee,ng RMP & this is available onsite during the event. Par,es wan,ng to assess the RMP prior to entry must contact the club for detail. Entry to this event confirms an understanding of the risks of the sport as noted in the RMP. In the event of injury to an event par,cipant, a completed entry is consent to proper medical treatment being administered. Event entry also consents to submit to drug tes,ng if required. All entrants agree to be bound by the regula,ons and general condi,ons for this event as published by BMXNZ in its latest rule book. Any reference to BMXNZ within this flyer or entry is referring to BMX New Zealand Inc. BMXNZ Mighty 11s Boys & Girls - Junior Test Team 30 March 2018 - Australian Leg Selec,on Entry Detail Mighty 11s Boys and Girls - Junior Test Team Selec,on Guidelines BMX New Zealand Na,onal Championship - Friday 30 March 2018 New Plymouth Sharks BMX Club Facility, Castleton Park, Park Road, New Plymouth Mighty 11 Boys 4 riders Mighty 11 Girls 4 riders This event will be select Teams to travel to Australia to represent NZ in the Mighty 11 s Cultural Exchange and Australia vs. New Zealand - Mighty 11 s Test. The selec,on is open to all riders who will be 11 years old (actual age) on 1 June 2018. All trialists must enter into their age group class RACE FORMAT - Mighty 11 s: All Riders: 4 qualifying motos. Each rider s 3 lowest moto points will be added, then; 8 or less riders: Points added to 5th (final) moto to determine top 4 placings. 9-24 riders: Top 8 riders to 1 final, points added to 3 best moto points. 25 + riders: Top 16 riders race semi finals, points added to 3 best moto points Top 8 riders to final, points added to previous points. Count back system to determine semi final and final posions. Semi finals placing, last counted moto placing, if necessary. Finish posion in Final will determine team selecon if points ed. Riders select lanes for Semi finals and Finals TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: 1. All riders must compete in the 2018 BMX New Zealand Na,onal Championships 2. Selected Riders and Guardians will be required to sign and comply with the BMX NZ Test Teams Contract. Contracts are to be signed on the day of selec,on. Copies of the M11 Test Team Contract are available upon request from the BMXNZ Administrator at admin@bmxnz.co.nz). 3. Riders must atend all arranged team training sessions as arranged by BMX NZ Team Management. 4. Riders must be available to travel to Australia during May & June 2018. During this period riders will be billeted or accommodated only as arranged by BMX NZ Team Management. (Late returns with family are possible by arrangement). 5. All riders must have current passports and entry rights into Australia, copies of which must be handed in at,me of selec,on (please have copies of passport with you at the BMX NZ Na,onal Championships selec,on to hand over with the signed contract. 6. Riders selected will be required to pay to BMX NZ - New Zealand dollars $500.00 to assist with the costs. 7. All riders must abide by the rules and regula,ons as set by BMX NZ. 8. Any rider wan,ng to be eligible for selec,on for a BMX New Zealand Test Team must be permanently resident, in New Zealand for the all of the relevant BMX New Zealand racing season (as published in the annual racing calendar) and up to the date or dates of the events for which the rider wishes to be considered for selec-,on. Assistance for Entry Issues - 2018nats@bmxevents.nz BMXNZ NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS EVENT HEALTH & SAFETY STATEMENT BMXNZ, The Taranaki Region & New Plymouth BMX Club will comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 2015 by commivng to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all riders, families and visitors to the BMX Event facility. It is the sports policy to make every prac,cal and reasonable effort to protect all visitors, to prevent accidents or serious harm injuries and promote safety and welfare of all persons while on the event facility. BMXNZ, The Taranaki Region & New Plymouth BMX Club will take all possible steps to list and evaluate hazards and to determine solu,ons to eliminate or minimise those hazards as part of the Risk Management Plan (RMP), to meet the sports policy noted above. BMX Racing is an ac,on sport & inherently has risks that are accepted as part of sport. All known risks are noted in the BMXNZ Major Mee,ng RMP & this is available onsite during the event. Par,es wan,ng to assess the RMP prior to entry must contact the club for detail. Entry to this event confirms an understanding of the risks of the sport as noted in the RMP. In the event of injury to an event par,cipant, a completed entry is consent to proper medical treatment being administered. Event entry also consents to submit to drug tes,ng if required. All entrants agree to be bound by the regula,ons and general condi,ons for this event as published by BMXNZ in its latest rule book. Any reference to BMXNZ within this flyer or entry is referring to BMX New Zealand Inc. Safety and safe prac,ces at all BMXNZ calendared events are not nego,able and failure by anyone to comply by the code of conduct or rules of the sport will result in the removal of such person from the event facility.
