I represent that I am experienced in horsemanship or it has been explained to me that equestrian activities can be dangerous and I hereby accept and assume all risks to my person or that of my child and to my personal property while engaging in such activities. I for myself or for my child, understand that the wearing of a properly fitted and SEI Certified equestrian helmet while riding or near horses may reduce the severity of some of the wearer s head injuries and possibly prevent the wearer s death from happenings as the result of fall or other occurrences. As such, I agree for myself or for my child that an ATSM certified helmet will be worn while riding on the premises known as Old Field Farm County Parkland. I hereby waive, release and relinquish all rights and claims I may now or hereafter have against Old Field Farm Ltd, and Long Island Horse Shows, Inc., Old Field Farm County Parkland and the County of Suffolk, N.Y., the owners of the land and buildings, upon which it operates their business, their servants, agents, officers and employees with respect to any or all injury to myself, my child, my horse and damage to my personal property which may arise, directly or indirectly, at the said premises while visiting or participating in any activities. This waiver and release shall bind me, my heirs and legal representatives. By signing this release, if applicable, I am consenting to have my minor child show in said event. Rules and Regulations 1. Every class which is offered herein will be conducted and judged under the current rules of the United States Equestrian Federation. 2. ENTRIES: Pre-entries will be taken by phone, e-mail or horseshowing.com until 9:00 PM the Thursday preceding the show date. Mailed entries, regular or E-mailed, are the responsibility of the entrant & must be received by the above deadline. No one will be permitted to perform without payment of all fees. All exhibitors must sign a release form & a parent/guardian s signature is required for all Junior riders. All accounts must be settled by 6:00pm Sunday of each show. Open checks will be filled in at that time. 3. REFUNDS on entries will be made only upon receipt of veterinarian certificates attesting to inability of horse to show to illness or injury to participate. There will be a $15 charge for refunds. In the event of cancellation, refunds will be made by mail. 4. Schooling will be from 7:00 to 8:30 AM and during breaks. 5. No entry will be accepted unless signed by the rider, owner/agent and coach/trainer and the required fees in negotiable funds accompany a completed entry blank. 6. Management reserves the right to cancel, combine, divide or move any class. Classes with less than 3 entries may be combined or cancelled. 7. Martingales are not permitted in any flat classes. Flashes will not be permitted in equitation or hunters. Boots, bandages or wraps are not permitted in hunter or pleasure. 8. Stalls will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Stalls are in a permanent barn with doors. $30 per day. 9. Rider or trainer conflicts will not be honored. 10. Dogs and other pets must be on a leash at all times. 11. The Long Island Horse Shows Inc., Old Field Farm Ltd. and the County of Suffolk, their management officials and employees shall not be liable for any injury to a person or property of any exhibitor, rider, spectator, visitor, groom or any other person by reason of any event occurring during the course of the shows. 12. Should any questions arise that are not provided in the rules, the same shall be referred to the Show Committee whose decision shall be final. 13. A fee of $25 plus collection fees will be charged for all non-negotiable checks. 14. Exhibitors who submitted non-negotiable checks in previous years must pay cash. 15.
