If teams elect not to purchase four (4) additional tires they will have to start the race on their four (4) practice tires from their allotment for this event. These four (4) tires will not count against the maximum twelve (12) tires allotted for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Championship 100-lap event scheduled for Saturday, July 16, 2016. Only if a team elects to use two (2) cars, a maximum of four (4) tires from previous NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour events may be used for practice sessions only, providing the tires used are the same codes supplied by Hoosier for use at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. TIRE CODE: LF 640 D2514 RF 640 D2714 LR 640 D2514 RR 670 D2724 (Continued on Reverse)

(Continued from Front) During the race, up to four (4) additional tires may be designated by a team representative to the NASCAR Official assigned to their pit stall as an Emergency Change Tire. Emergency Change Tires may only be used in the event of a flat tire, damaged wheel and/or the tire cannot maintain the recommended minimum pressures from Hoosier. Emergency Change Tires cannot be a new/sticker tire. Emergency Change Tires may only be used if approved by NASCAR Officials. The procedure for utilizing an Emergency Change Tire will be discussed in the Driver/Crew Chief Meeting. STARTING POSITIONS AND PROCEDURES The WHELEN ALL-STAR SHOOTOUT Special Event is limited to a twenty (20) car field. Participants eligible for entry into this Special Event are: Any NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and/or NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour current/past champions; race winners from prior NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and/or NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Championship Events prior to entry deadline and the 2015 Sunoco Rookie of the Year winners from the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour. All eligible drivers must enter by the entry deadline to be considered for one of the twenty (20) starting positions. Late entries will not be accepted, no exception. If more than the starting field of twenty (20) entries is filed, the criteria for being eligible for one of the twenty (20) starting positions will be as follows: Drivers ranking with the most number of NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and/or NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Championships will be eligible for one of the twenty (20) starting positions until all positions are filled. If positions still remain available, the next positions(s), until the field is filled, will be available to the driver(s) who have the most wins, ranking from most to least, from the 2005 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and/or NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour season through the Entry Deadline Date of the Official Entry Blank of July 5, 2016. In the event of a tie among driver(s) based on any of the above mentioned criteria, the tie will be broken based on most number of highest positions in final NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and/or NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Final Championship point standings (for example: most number of first place, most number of second place, most number of third place, etc.) until tie is broken. If the tie is still not satisfied then the tie will be broken based on most number of highest finishing positions from the 2005 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and/or NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Championship events through the Entry Deadline Date of this Official Entry Blank of July 5, 2016. The 2015 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Rookie of the Year and the 2015 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Rookie of the Year will have a protected starting position. Once the above criteria has been met, if any of the twenty (20) starting positions remain available, or all of the teams are not present to compete after submitting the Official Entry Blank, NASCAR may allow additional teams to compete based on most number of second (2nd) place finishes then third (3rd) place finishes and so on in NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and/or NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Final Championship Point Standings first then number of highest finishing positions from the 2005 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and/or NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Championship events through the Entry Deadline Date of this Official Entry Blank of July 5, 2016 until the field is filled. Starting positions will be established as follows: A team may elect to utilize one car for both the Special Event and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Championship Event scheduled for Saturday, July 16, 2016 or utilize a second car. The team must make this declaration to the Series Director by July 8, 2016. If the team elects to utilize a second car then an additional Inspection Fee must be paid. A backup/secondary car cannot be used after the declaration unless the car has been damaged beyond repair and/or at the discretion of the Series Director. Teams who declared to the Series Director that they will utilize two cars (one for the Special Event and one for the Championship Event) must further declare which car will be utilized for the Special Event by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2016. A random draw will be held to determine starting positions for the Special Event. The order of the draw will be based off the driver s criteria to enter the Special Event. For example, the driver with the most number of championships and was first to be eligible for this event will be the first driver to draw for his/her starting position and the process will continue until the field is set. The pole position will be awarded to the driver who draws the number one (1) position. The driver must be present to draw for his/her own starting positions. No substitutes. RACE PROCEDURE The Special Event will be a thirty-five (35) lap race split into two (2) segments with a mandatory caution displayed at lap twenty (20), unless the caution is already out at lap twenty (20). The overall thirty-five (35) lap event will have a thirty (30) minute time limit. All caution laps will count except the period after lap twenty (20) until the race is restarted. Pit road will be closed during the entire event. When the yellow is displayed at lap twenty (20) the race will be restarted by the car s last completed green flag lap except for those cars involved in a random number selection that will determine the number of cars to be inverted for the restart. The procedure for determining the random number will be determined and announced to the teams during the Driver/Crew Chief Meeting. Any car finishing the first segment of the race in positions one (1) through eight (8) will be subject to the inversion. Four (4), five (5), six (6), seven (7) or eight (8) will be inverted. No tire changes will be permitted during the event unless it is an approved Emergency Change Tire. No fueling permitted during the event. At the twenty (20) minute mark of the event, if the first segment has not been completed, NASCAR will display the yellow and the random number selection procedure for the inversion will take place. Caution laps will not count during this period until the race is restarted. When the race is restarted under this procedure the second segment of the event will be (10) laps or until the time limit expires. (Continued on Next Page)

Continued from Page 1 WHELEN ALL-STAR SHOOTOUT New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Loudon, NH Friday, July 15, 2016 At the twenty-five minute mark of the event, NASCAR will announce to the competitors over the NASCAR Race Control channel there are five (5) laps remaining in the event. If the yellow flag is displayed during this five (5) lap period the race will be restarted with one attempt at a green, white, checkered flag finish. SPECIAL RULES: ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS This event will be run in accordance with the 2016 NASCAR Touring Series Rule Book, the provisions of this Official Entry Blank, any special rules applicable to the event and any amendments thereto. In the event of any conflict between the 2016 NASCAR Touring Series Rule Book, the Official Entry Blank and the special rules, NASCAR s determination as to the interpretation and application of the conflicting rules will be final. All drivers, car owners and crew members must have a valid NASCAR license that has not been suspended or revoked. For a car owner to receive owner s points and prize money for this event, the car owner s entry must be comprised of substantially similar components of the race team which regularly competes at other Series events under such car owner s designated car number. Such components which are regularly associated with a particular race team include essential equipment, personnel and other key elements utilized by the race team on a regular basis. In order to protect the integrity of the sport and fair distribution of championship points and prize money, NASCAR reserves the right to evaluate the core components of each team at the event, including but not limited to the team s designated Crew Chief, Driver, race vehicle(s), hauler and/or other equipment, to confirm the team competing in the event is not a mere semblance of the race team which regularly competes in the Series under a designated car number. NASCAR s determinations that the above requirements have not been met are at the sole discretion of the Series Director. All cars must be inspected, pass inspection and receive a practice sticker before they will be permitted to engage in practice or qualifying. Cars that have not been checked in for inspection during the inspection period will not be permitted to compete. (EIRI) NOTE: Any NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour or NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour car with a fuel cell that was not sealed in 2016 should arrive with the fuel cell empty and ready for inspection. NOTE: All teams must have a spotter with radio contact to the driver during practice, qualifying and the race; all spotters must scan the NASCAR frequency being used during practice, qualifying and the race. It is also recommended that teams have radio contact between the driver and his/her pit crew and that the pit crew have a radio scanner to monitor the NASCAR race frequency. The frequency being used will be made available at the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour trailer. Cars, parts and/or equipment will not be considered as having been approved by reason of having passed through inspection at any time or any number of times unobserved or undetected. All cars are subject to the physical control of NASCAR from the time they pass inspection until after they are officially released by NASCAR. NASCAR, however, is not responsible for any loss or damage to any car. NOTE: All engine fluids, lubricants, solvents and fuels must be disposed of in a proper manner in accordance with track rules and procedures and all other applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. NASCAR may require any driver, including without limitation any starter or relief driver, to take and pass a driver s test (in the manner deemed appropriate by NASCAR in its sole discretion) prior to the event, any practice runs, qualifying runs or the race. Rookie drivers may be required to take and pass a driver s test under the specification of, direction and control of NASCAR. NASCAR will announce the deadline for Rookie driver tests. NASCAR may specify, limit or restrict the types of racing series, race cars, or race tracks in which a license holder may participate. NASCAR may also require a minimum speed (EIRI) to be obtained to participate in the event. NOTE: All NASCAR drivers must submit or have on file at NASCAR a career resume outlining their previous racing experience and history and, per sub-section 3-1 of the 2016 NASCAR Touring Series Rule Book, be specified as eligible to compete in this series and on a racetrack of this type and length. Any driver who has not submitted a career resume form or needs to send in an updated form, may do so via the Official NASCAR Member website (www.nascarmembers.com). NOTE: For practice, qualifying and the race, all competitors must use Sunoco 260 GTX Unleaded Racing Fuel exactly as supplied by Sunoco, display a Sunoco patch on his/her driving suit on the upper chest or outer sleeve above the elbow, display a Sunoco decal on the car as specified by NASCAR, as well as display the Sunoco trade name on the fuel filler can(s) used during competition. Per Section 20D-16.6 of the 2016 NASCAR Touring Series Rule Book, each team must furnish their own approved fuel filler can(s).
