It is designed to help junior players to realise their full potential within netball through ensuring that clubs provide: Quality netball coaching for a minimum number of hours throughout the season Coaching sessions that are planned and delivered by qualified coaches he opportunity to take part in suitable competition he opportunity to progress through the England Netball National Performance Pathway programme Access to a safe and fit for purpose venue and equipment Evidence Check List Please ensure that you have provided the following evidence below within your CAPS assessment file. When the evidence is in your file tick the box to show that it is present. An example of two session plans from the current season that are used with junior players which show a variety of activities and cover the following areas: warm up, skill development/practices, modified games, cool down/wrap up A copy of one Level 1 England Netball or UKCC Level 1 coaching Certificate A copy of one Level 2 England Netball or UKCC Level 2 coaching Certificate A copy of one Beginner or C Award Umpiring Pass Card Role and responsibility document for every role on the co-ordinating group required roles: Chairperson, reasurer, Junior representative, Club Safeguarding Officer Risk assessment for facility and equipment used Copy of the venue s risk assessment for the club s training venues for the current season and one example of a completed checklist to check for potential risks prior to each coaching session Copy of one relevant Performance Pathway training certificate (if club has junior players in academies)

1.7 he club has assigned clear roles and responsibilities for all volunteers involved with managing the club and the playing programme a) he club has a co-ordinating group and a role and responsibility document for every role identified. his must include Chairperson, Secretary, reasurer, Club Safeguarding Officer, Junior Representative and Club Volunteer Coordinator. Please add in any additional roles you have in your committee and provide copies of all documentation. b) Include all roles in the Club Workforce Matrix 1.8 he club ensures that all relevant volunteers (e.g. coaches and umpires) have public liability insurance a) England Netball affiliation number in the Club Workforce Matrix with coach and umpire details OR b) Separate public liability insurance certificate to be provided 1.9 he club has a copy of the venue risk assessment for their training venue(s) for the current season and uses a checklist to check for potential risks prior to each coaching session a) List of all club training venues raining venue Postcode b) Copy of completed risk assessment for all venues for the current season c) One example of a checklist completed prior to a coaching session, signed and dated within the current season 1.10 he club has knowledge of player pathways, talent ID and selection process and knowledge of coaching talented players a) Details of the selection process for trials for satellite, county and regional academies and dates of trials and location details of nearest satellite/county academy. When your club meets the following criteria tick the box 1.11 he club has access to a full size netball court 1.12 he club has access to toilet and changing facilities 1.13 he facilities you use provide access to changing areas, playing and spectator areas for wheelchair users. 1.14 he club should provide a minimum of one netball between four players for training sessions 1.15 U11 players play High 5 Netball (his is required if you have under 11s) 1.16 Size 4 netballs are provided for High 5 netball sessions 1.17 here is a maximum of 30 players per court during a coaching session
