Coach s Profile. Coach David Hanke Did you know? Coach David used to travel the country building a cast of T. Rex SUE at different museums for the Field Museum 1. How long have you been with Kickers? Since 2014. 2. What made you want to become a coach? My first "real" coach wasn't until I played in college and I wanted to help kids develop a skill and a passion for the game. 3. What is your favorite part about soccer? It really is the only sport that combines athleticism, intelligence, and creativity. 4. Who is your favorite soccer team and why? A.S. Roma, I'm from a big Italian family and I love that Totti has been with the club since his youth team. This type of loyalty is rare in modern sports. Forza Roma!! 5. What are you looking forward to most this season? Seeing all players grow in skill and confidence. Kickers SC is a tight knit family and I enjoy seeing my players and other coaches players excel from year to year. 6. What is your favorite food? Fettuccini Alfredo with broccoli and shrimp 7. What song do you know all the words to? House of Pain- Jump Around. It was our warm up song in college. 8. Favorite position to play? Any position that involved tackling. Opponents tended not to keep the ball very long around me :)

Players of the Month! Presented by Buffalo Wild Wings Alex Reinhard- U15 Boys Premier Kaitlyn Reinhard- U10 Girls Premier Bryce Reinhard- U15 Boys Premier 1. What position do you play? Alex- Outside Defender Kaitlyn.- Defender Bryce- Center Mid 2. How long have you been with Kickers Soccer Club? Alex- 2 years Kaitlyn- 1 year Bryce- 2 years 3. What do you enjoy doing off the field, when you are not playing soccer? Alex- School Sports Kaitlyn- Play Basketball. Bryce- Photography. 4. What advice would you give to your younger self? Alex- Train longer, train harder. Kaitlyn- Practice juggling more. Bryce- Go to extra training. 5. What do you do before a game to get ready to play? Alex- Stretch and get focused Kaitlyn- Stretch Bryce- Listen to music 6. What is your favorite food? Alex- Pizza Kaitlyn- Steak Bryce- Mangoes 7. What do you enjoy most about soccer? Alex- The fun of the sport. Kaitlyn- Playing on a team with my friends. Bryce- The physical activity.

Maddison Pickett Alumni of the Month! Presented by Buffalo Wild Wings 1. What is your favorite memory playing with Kickers Soccer Club? All of the fun tournaments and showcases. Not only were they fun and competitive, but they strengthened and created so many friendships and bonds that until this day still exist. 2. What position did you like playing the most? Center Midfield! I didn't take on this role until I started to play with the girls (I was on the boys team until high school) and it really helped me develop into the player I was and am today. It is a huge leadership role and allows you to not only control the game to a sense, but you are the playmaker and the heart of the game. If you're not working, the whole team can fail. I liked the pressure and I liked the opportunities to be creative in a game I am so passionate about. 3. Where did life take you after Kickers Soccer Club? After Kickers I went to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside where I graduated with a Sport Management Degree. I continued to learn about the game of soccer through coaching courses and my playing experiences. Not only did I coach for Kickers for 2 years after I graduated from college, but I decided to make coaching my full time career (thanks to Kickers SC and all my experiences from playing and coaching). I love it so much, I moved across the country to Houston, TX where I coach full time for an all girls club named Challenge Soccer Club. 4. Did you continue to play soccer when you graduated from Kickers Soccer Club? Absolutely! I played at Wisconsin-Parkside on a scholarship. Parkside is an NCAA Division II school and it was a great program where I was able to continue to fall in love with the game. Besides that, I played in various leagues (whatever I could) around the city. 5. What advice would you give to current Kickers Soccer Club players? HAVE FUN, work hard, and don't be afraid to fail! Everyone has a chance at the next level if you put in the work and reach for your goals.
