The Rockies returned to Interleague play this week as they host a three-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays for the first time since June 11-13, 2011 won 9-5 last night split a four-game series with the Arizona Diamondbacks to begin the homestand. Was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on April 27. Made 16 starts across two stints with the Rockies in 2015 went 3-10 with a 5.90 ERA (79.1 IP, 52 ER), 42 walks and 44 strikeouts. Was originally drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 35th round of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft, but did not sign. LAST TIME OUT Made his eighth start of the season and did not receive a decision in the 7-6 Rockies loss pitched five innings and allowed six runs on a season-high tying 11 hits with two walks and four strikeouts.
