Introduction The City of CheongJu, Korea Paralympic Committee (KPC), Korea Shooting Federation For the Disabled (KSFD) and World Shooting Para Sport (WSPS) are pleased to invite you to CheongJu 2018 World Shooting Para Sport Championships. 2.7 Eligibility Criteria for Participation 2.7.1 Athlete Eligibility To be eligible for selection by an NPC for the 2018 World Shooting Para Sport Championships Athletes must: Hold an active World Shooting Para Sport License for the 2018 Season. In Team Events Medals will be presented to All Team Members participated in the event (e.g. 3 Gold, 3 Silver, 3 Bronze). 2.10 Viability of Events Events are considered viable if they have a minimum of Four (4) Countries entered through the Entry by Number. Team Events will be considered viable if they have a minimum of Three (3) eligible NPCs entered. Otherwise events are not considered viable and will be cancelled. 2.11 International Classification International Classification will be conducted on 2-3 May 2018. A detailed classification schedule will follow after the revision of the final entries by World Shooting Para Sport. All athletes informed that they require classification must arrive at a time prior to their allocated appointment time. Athletes due for classification must ensure a copy of both the IPC Medical Diagnostics Form and Classification Consent Form are completed and uploaded by the NPC to SDMS at least Four (4) Weeks before the Championships. 2.12 Results Results will be sent to the WSPS Office after the competition is finished, and reviewed and published on the WSPS website and the Ranking list will be updated accordingly. 2.13 Rankings World Shooting Para Sport shall maintain world and regional rankings based on the final results list. For further information see the World Shooting Para Sport Rules and Regulations. 2.14 Records Please see the World Shooting Para Sport website (https:www.paralympic.org/shooting/records). 2.15 Anti-Doping Doping control will be conducted in accordance to the IPC Anti-Doping Code. See (http://www.paralympics.org/shooting/rulesandregulations/antidoping) for further information. 3.1 Entries and Registration 3. Registration All athletes entered in the Championships must be licensed for the 2018 season by the time of the final entries deadline. Athletes entries not meeting this criterion will be rejected by World Shooting Para Sport. All athletes must be entered by their respective NPCs or Organizations authorized by the NPC and accepted by World Shooting Para Sport. All NPCs must declare their entries within the given deadlines. No late entries are to be accepted. If an athlete hopes to obtain an MQS in April, they must be entered by the entry deadlines. If they do not receive the MQS they may cancel their participation for no additional fee. Replacement entries may be accepted in the same event only due to injury or medical reason. The NPC must submit all necessary documents (including Athlete Epilepsy Declaration) to World Shooting Para Sport office for approval. The entrance into CheongJu is through the CheongJu Interchange, which is 119.6km away from Seoul. At the Gyeongbu Expressway, a 5km, tree-lined tunnel warmly welcomes you. The Hotel is located in Northern side of the downtown of CheongJu City. 4.6 Distance (1) The distance from Incheon International Airport to Hotel is approximately 170Km and it usually takes about 3 or 3.5 Hours to the Championships Hotel or 20 minutes from CheongJu Airport. (2) The Room Rate is subject to an Accommodation at Official Championship Hotel only. (3) The Room Rate is based on Two (2) Persons-sharing a Room. (4) In case of Single Room Request, a higher Rate will be charged. (5) NPCs are required to decide the Roommate for the convenience of Check-in Process after Arrival. 4.7.2 Notes for Meal Service (1) Meal Service (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) is included during Championship Period. (2) The First Meal Service is Dinner on 1 May 2018. The Last Meal is Breakfast on 12 May 2018. (3) Breakfast and Dinner will be served at Championship Hotel, Lunch is at Venue. (2) Arrival & Departure Transport Service (Airport -- Hotel - Airport) will be provided on the designated Official Arrival and departure Days (1 -- 2 May, 12 May 2018) only. (3) Transportation outside of the official Arrival and Departure Days will be subject to a EUR150 Fee. (4) Any Teams travelling out of Official Competition Days are required to contact LOC for Additional Costs. (5) This Transportation is including the Transfer of Firearms & Ammunition from the Airport to Armory of Shooting Range. 4.8 Hotel -- Venue Daily Shuttle LOC will operate Daily Shuttle Bus (Wheelchair Accessible) from the Official Championships Hotel and Competition Venue for the period of the Championships. 4.9 Payment of Accommodations and Transportation Charges The payment for Hotel Accommodation and Transportation charges should be made directly to Local Organizing Committee (LOC) not World Shooing Para Sport of IPC by Bank or Telegraphic Transfer (T/T). 5. Other Information 5.1 Insurance All Participating Teams (Athletes & Team Officials) attending this event must ensure they have the appropriate Personal, Medical and Travel Insurance Each National Federation and/or National Paralympic Committee is responsible for the appropriate insurances for accidents, health, property and liability of their team. The LOC is not liable for any illness cases. 5. 2 Visa NPCs are responsible for obtaining a visa, if required. Further information regarding accreditation will be circulated with the Entry by Name Form. 5.4 Ammunition No ammunition will be for sale at the event as it is illegal in Korea. All ammunition must be brought by the competitors. You are not allowed to bring this with you out of Korea after the competition.
