What sports are offered throgh NEISD We offer 5 sports for 7 th and 8 th grade athletes If yor son competes in all 5 sports from start to finish he will be eligible to receive the 5 star athlete award. Football Basketball Golf Track Tennis

Uniform and UIL Eligibility Every athlete mst prchase an athletic package for $35.00 Completed Medical History form Cleared physical from physician Additional niforms and socks can be prchased as needed throghot the year. Athletic cleats/shoes. Online participation forms (NEISD ATHLETICS Website) Passing all classes with a 70% or higher at the end of every grading period. We expect or stdent athletes to maintain A/B academic averages Contract and Emergency Card

Competition Condct-Athletes We are known for or otstanding character! Always be on yor best behavior, especially when traveling and representing or program. ALWAYS sit with yor team. Any isse with behavior will be immediately addressed and conseqences will be issed. Coaches discretion. Coaches reserve the right to dismiss players from the team de to negative behavior ALWAYS show respect to yor teammates, officials, opponents and spectators Always play with integrity and pride. Never lose yor poise Never ask to go in. Coach will make this decision. Do not socialize with spectators before, or dring yor game. Locked in Will always stay and spport the other teams ntil the end. Home games-all players will pitch in to break down the field/gym. We will leave as a team.
Parent expectations Again, we always receive compliments for or fans sportsmanship. We appreciate yor positive representation of or program. Prchasing a ticket is a privilege Officials and administrators can and will ask nrly spectators to leave from a contest Keep in mind, all athletes are here to learn the game. If this happens, administrators can and will prohibit any ftre attendance to contest Do not speak to officials, players in a negative way. Jst as being an athlete is a privilege, so is the position as a spectator. Cheer for yor athletes team Show respect, be a positive role model at all events. Or school and NEISD can and will be held liable for actions of patrons who violate UIL standards and rles If yo re pset abot a game sitation, we ask that yo wait 24 hors before commnicating with the coach. Immediately following a game is not the best time to commnicate.

O.F.I. Opportnity for Improvement Everyone makes mistakes. We re hman. However, part of or role as coaches, mentors, and leaders is to help mold or athletes into otstanding yong men. Its imperative that we learn from or mistakes We have 3 levels of O.F.I If yo re removed from athletics, yor schedle will be changed to P.E. or another open elective. We will do everything in or power to help yo reach yor goals, all we need is yor commitment! As yor coaches, we have made a commitment to yor ftre, Each phase increases in difficlty and length. Phase 3 is the final step: Sspension and or dismissed from yor team and athletics.
Transportation Policy Pick p will be on the Blanco side of the school. Please pick p on time. For away games, we will always have yor athlete call when we re approximately 10 mintes from school. A remind message will be sent ot when we are retrning from games. If yo need to take yor son home after a game, yo mst provide a written note 24 hors in advance. We are trying to promote team spirit and spport. We want everyone cheering on their teammates. Schedle are provided for every sport so yo will know release time. If changes happen we will send ot a remind. Failre to pick p yor athlete on time, can reslt in him losing the opportnity to travel to games, or any other off camps activity. If yo have any qestions or concerns please do not hesitate to talk to yor designated coach.
