TRANSPORTATION Transportation to Baie-Comeau from Montreal is structured and supervised by the Organizing Committee. To reduce the cost of transporting delegations, luxury coaches have been chartered and will all depart from Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport from Montreal to Baie-Comeau, a journey lasting approximately 9 hours. To maximize the comfort of all during the ride, these luxury coaches are not suitable or accessible for wheelchairs. We therefore ask for the teams' cooperation during the boat trip for team members with reduced mobility. A stop in a restaurant is planned halfway, however note that meals are at the expense of delegations. Race equipment shall be stored in a specific room at the Montreal Pierre-Elliot-Trudeau Airport between your arrival in Montreal and your departure to Baie-Comeau. Subsequently, a transport truck will be parked near the coaches and the Organizing Committee will put your equipment into the same truck. It will then be the responsibility of the Organizing Committee to unload the equipment in the warehouses provided for this purpose, once arrived in Baie-Comeau. Also, the organizing committee got a special rate for air transportation. However, we must quickly know your needs and your dates of arrival and departure. It is also possible to rent a vehicle directly at the airport to ensure your transportation to Baie-Comeau. You will be able to have this vehicle throughout your stay and during your return to Montreal. We also have a special rate. Places in coaches are limited. It is therefore necessary to proceed to the booking of your package as soon as possible. Onsite, a shuttle service will be available in the morning and evening from 15 to 19 August from the hotels.
