KEY INFORMATION EVENT SITES The event is split over 2 sites. The swim will take place in Roundhay Park and the run will lead to the finish line in Leeds City Centre. A DETAILED ATHLETE GUIDE WILL BE RELEASED CLOSER TO THE EVENT TRANSITIONS Both transitions 1 (swim to bike) and 2 (bike to run) will take place in. REGISTRATION You MUST register and rack your bike in s Event Village on Saturday 9 June, between 14:00 and 19:00. Racking will take place in the secure outdoor transition area. KIT BAGS You have the option to securely leave two bags of clothing/personal belongings. 1. City Centre Finish Line Bag Leave this bag in when you register on Saturday 9 June. This bag will be securely transported overnight to the City Centre finish line, to be collected upon completion of the race. In this bag we recommend you put warm, dry clothes and any other belongings you may need once you have finished your race. 2. Bag On Sunday 10 June you can leave a bag in transition prior to your race start. In this bag we suggest you leave anything you have brought to on Sunday, but do not need to race. After you finish, you can collect this bag back at when you collect your bike from transition. TRANSPORT A free competitor car park is available at on both Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June. A dedicated, regular shuttle bus service will run between and Leeds City Centre on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June. Unfortunately, these buses are unable to transport bikes. On Saturday, the shuttle bus service will run from early morning until after registration closes. On Sunday, the service will run from early morning until after the completion of the elite races. Running times will be announced in due course, but the shuttle bus will run at regular intervals, with increased frequency at peak times. SATURDAY 9 JUNE REGISTRATION DAY ROUNDHAY PARK 1 REGISTRATION All race packs are to be collected at the event. Nothing will be posted out to you in advance. 2 BAG Register in between 14:00 and 19:00.! (You must register on Saturday 9 June). Set up your bike in transition.! (You must rack your bike on Saturday 9 June). DROP OFF Drop off your City Centre Finish Line Bag in. In this bag, we recommend you put warm, dry clothes and any other belongings you may need once you have finished your race. NOTE: You do not have to use this service. If friends or family are meeting you at the finish line, they can take your post-finish clothes for you. WHAT ELSE IS HAPPENING ON SATURDAY AT ROUNDHAY PARK? SATURDAY RACING A full schedule of GO TRI, TriStar, Youth and Junior races are taking place. Come down and cheer them on! SUNDAY 10 JUNE RACE DAY ROUNDHAY PARK & LEEDS CITY CENTRE 1 ARRIVE 2 RACE 3 FINISH 4 POST AT ROUNDHAY PARK Arrive in plenty of time for your race start and check your transition set up if you wish. (access from 5:30am) NOTE: You will need your wristband to enter transition. Leave any last-minute belongings in your Bag in transition. TIME! Enjoy yourself, and have a great race! LINE LEEDS CITY CENTRE After completing the race, pick up your City Centre Finish Line Bag from the bag collection area or collect belongings from friends or family who have brought them for you. Get some food, something to drink and relax! RACE After your race, you can stay to watch the elite races in the City Centre or return to. If you are aiming to win a British Triathlon Championship Title, the medal presentations will take place in, in-between the two elite races. The elite races will be shown live on big screens in both locations. You must return to on Sunday to collect your bike and any items you have left in transition. A regular shuttle bus service is provided to transport you from the City Centre back to. FRIENDS & FAMILY If friends and family are coming to watch you compete, we advise they find a location to watch the event and stick to it, rather than moving around the city. Big screens, showing the elite races, will be located in both and the City Centre. Catering concessions and other amenities will be available at both locations.
