1. This show is not open to the public and operates under the NCPA Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection Policy. 2. All persons entering the showground must have personal and public liability insurance. The committee will not be held responsible for any damage, loss or injury to any person, animal or property whilst on the showground. Under NO circumstances must anyone, other than the judge, stewards, competitors or grooms enter the show rings. 3. In the interest of safety, excessive assistance or interference from outside the ring, will NOT be tolerated. 4. The judge s decision is final. Any objections must be made in writing, within one hour of the end of the class/incident and handed to the secretary with a deposit of 30.00. In the event of the objection being upheld, the deposit will be returned in full. 5. The committee reserve the right to amalgamate, cancel or divide classes, as the entries warrant. 6. The committee reserve the right to cancel or refuse any entry made. 7. Under no circumstances will/can entries be substituted and any refunds will be at the discretion of the committee and subject to a 10.00 admin charge. 8. In the event of postponement all entries will be carried over to the new date, unconditionally. 9. In the event of cancellation refunds MUST be requested in writing and should be sent with an SAE enclosed to the show secretary within28 days of the show date and will be subject to a 10.00 admin charge. 10. M&M ponies to be shown in accordance with the Breed Society rules. 11. Stallions may NOT be lead or ridden by children under the age of 14 years to qualify for P(UK) Championships. 12. The committee reserve the right to carry out random dope testing. 13. Dishonoured cheques will incur a 10.00 admin fee and may result in the refusal of future entries. 14. All grooms entering the ring must wear a hat and be of smart appearance. 15. All riding hats MUST adhere to current UK standards. In order to enter the final of the competition to be held at the NPS Spring Festival at Vale View Equestrian Centre on April 8 th 2018, the owner of the pony needs to become a qualifying member.
Stallion discs must be worn in all NPS Ridden and In Hand classes, these may be from any UK society as long as they are easily identifiable. The disc must be worn on the bridle. Ponies (UK) : 1 st 2 nd &3 rd in each qualifying class will qualify for the 2019 P(UK) Winter Classic BSPA 2018 and Equifest 2018. No membership is required to enter or compete in any championship final. Special Awards : NCPA Star Rosettes will be awarded in classes : 4, 6 & 9. The P(UK) RIHS Amateur Riders Qualifier is open to riders, who for showing purposes have not engaged in a training programme for riders/ horses/ ponies, livery, buying/selling or dealing of horses/ponies as a means of deriving a source of income in the 2 years prior to the date of the show. ( Please refer to Rule 25 of the current Rule Book ) Class 12 The P(UK)RIHS Amateur Rider Ridden M&M - Mountain and Moorland ridden Stallion, Mare or Gelding 4 years old and over, registered in the approved Pure Breed Society stud Books of Connemara, Dartmoor, Dales, Exmoor, Fells Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A,B.C,D rider any age. The highest placed exhibit not already qualified within the first five in the RIHS Young Riders M & M Ridden (classes 9 to 11) and the highest placed pony and rider not already qualified within the first five the RIHS Amateur Riders M & M (Class 12) will qualify for their respective finals at the Royal International Horse Show, Hickstead in July 2018. Qualification will be verified by the Office.
