We are holding qualifiers for the following Societies: TGCA TOYS In Hand and Ridden Classes Qualifying Rules Affiliation number - TGCA/24/18/049 Pure Bred classes are qualifiers for the Best of Breed Finals at the Traditional Gypsy Cob Association's (TGCA) National Breed Championship Show TOYS. Classes are open to all pure bred traditional gypsy cobs. Part Bred classes, are open to all part bred traditional gypsy cobs and are qualifiers for the part bred finals at TOYS. The exhibit must have one parent that is pure bred traditional gypsy cob, a minimum of Stallions All stallions (pure or part bred, four years and over) in order to enter any TGCA affiliated class MUST have be TGCA registered, have passed TGCA evaluations and their TGCA stallion disc displayed on their bridle. Stallions and colts over the age of two, MUST be shown in a stallion bridle with a metal bit and chain lead as per the current TGCA rulebook. Existing TGCA members must present their qualification card to the judge in the ring for signature. Non-members will receive a qualification card from the judge and have 21 days to join the TGCA and register their horse to validate the qualification. Quest for a Star Championship In hand and Ridden 1st, 2nd and 3rd from the TGCA classes may go forward to the Quest for a Star Championship, provided they are current TGCA members and the horse is TGCA registered. Membership cards and qualification cards (specific to that exhibit) must be presented upon entry into the ring. The Champion and Reserve qualify for the Ultimate Star Championships at TOYS. CHAPS Qualifier Rules Both the owner and the rider of any exhibit need not be fully paid-up members of CHAPS (UK) at the time of competition, nor must the animal be registered; but to validate the qualification, both membership and registration must be in place with CHAPS (UK) at the time of entering the relevant years finals and both sections of the qualifier card must be returned as per the instructions on the card. All stallions must be graded with CHAPS (UK) in order to compete in these classes. eexhibit s not to have qualified for HOYS in the current and previous year in which the finals will be held (e.g. for 2018 finals the horse or pony must not have qualified for HOYS in either 2016 or 2017). The 2 highest placed from each height/type category may qualify. TSR Qualifier Rules This show is a qualifier for the 2018 TSR Showing Finals. Qualify and enter ANY of the Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, South, Wales & South West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a

final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of Finals! TSR Riders Finals - 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring. TSR In Hand Finals - The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR In Hand Card will qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge/steward, cards are available FREE from the TSR website. BSHA Grass Roots Champs - With a TSR qualification card you can also enter the BSHA Grass Roots Champs in Sept at Addington Equestrian Centre - You do not have to be a BSHA member to qualify or enter the final. See www.britishshowhorse.org Royal London Show 2018 -This show is affiliated to the International Showing Society and is a qualifier for the Royal London Show 2018. First, second and third placed horses/ponies in eligible classes not already qualified will qualify for the Champion of Britain Title classes to be held at the Royal London Show 2018. Each qualified horse/pony will receive a qualification card in the ring which will enable the owner to enter the Royal London Show, provided the owner and rider/handler are, or become registered with the International Showing Society within 21 days of the qualifying show. No horse registration is required. Trailblazers Qualification process: - 1. The top 4 competitors in each qualifier will gain direct qualification for the Championship Finals. Qualified competitors will receive a congratulations letter from the venue. 2. Competitors will be required to return the congratulations letter with payment of 12 to the venue at which they qualified to receive their Showing & Working Hunter Qualification Card (as they did when qualifying first round). 3. The competitor will then complete the qualification card and send it to the Trailblazers entry office (as detailed on the card). 4. A Championship schedule will be sent out in early June (prior to the Championship Finals for which they have qualified for) to those who have returned their qualification card to the entry office. Once the competitor has qualified for one Championship and purchased a qualification card, the competitor will be entitled to enter any Showing or Working Hunter Championship at the Championship Finals for which they are eligible.

The Great Midland Horse Show All classes are qualifiers for The Great Midland Horse Show taking place at Onley Grounds Equestrian Complex on Saturday 11th Sunday 12th August 2018. The 3 highest placed exhibits in each class will qualify. Sunshine Tour All eligible classes are qualifiers for the Sunshine Tour to be held on Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th September 2018 at the All England Showground, Hickstead. QUALIFIER CLASSES Novice & Restricted Classes (but not training classes) Ridden classes for horses or ponies or mixed heights novice, introductory or restricted classes. In-Hand classes for horses or ponies or mixed heights novice, introductory or restricted classes. Junior Handler or Child Handler classes Introduction to Showing Ridden classes for very novice exhibitors with horses or ponies or mixed heights restricted to set pattern and/or walk & trot classes. In-Hand classes for very novice exhibitors / handlers. Competitors can be assisted but not led in these classes. ENTRY FEES Entry Fees All classes 12.00 pre-entry made online or 15 by postal, emailed or on the day. JUDGES INTEREST IN ENTRIES. Exhibitors are particularly requested to pay special attention to the name of the judge appointed in the classes they are entering, and not to knowingly enter an animal that has been OWNED or BRED by said judge. Where a judge has a continuing business or financial connection with an exhibitor he/she should NOT judge an animal entered by that exhibitor. HATS. Anyone riding a horse/pony anywhere on the showground MUST wear a hard hat to the standard required by the governing body under whose rules he/she is exhibiting. SPURS. Spurs may ONLY be worn by riders 16 years & over. OTHER SOCIETY RULES Where the Association shall hold a section or class under the rules of another body (such as the IMHPS, MHOYS, TGCA, RL, TGCA, Trailblazers) the rules of such body shall prevail. REFUNDS. ONLY by producing a VETS certificate or Doctors certificate. Under NO circumstances will entry fees be refunded in the case of cancellation of entries by an exhibitor PHONES. Mobile phones are strictly forbidden whilst in the ring EQUINE PASSPORTS. ALL equines MUST have a passport (England) regulation 2004, passports must be with said animal, and be available for inspection if required/requested. Exhibitors MUST comply with the current rules & regulations on Animal Gatherings & Movements in force at the time of the show according to DEFRA & BCMS requirements. The organisers, Judges & Stewards will not tolerate ANT verbal abuse of ANY kind. Any fall of a horse/rider/handler will result in immediate disqualification, & they will be asked to leave the ring on foot leading the pony/horse out. The organisers Judges/Stewards/Officials will NOT accept ANY Liability for Loss/Damage/Accident or Injury sustained or occasioned by any person, or the property of such persons whilst entering on or leaving the premises, however caused, and any such person shall indemnify and hold harmless.
