3. ENTRY FEE 3.1. The Entry Fee for each Class at this Meeting including GST and TDF Levy is as follows: Competition Class Name Entry Fee All Classes $80 Late Entry Surcharge $20 4. ENTRY PROCEDURE 4.1. Each Entry for this Meeting may be made using the CMS as follows: Log on to your driver information via http://www.karting.net.au/ Click on the licence and entries icon ( top centre of the screen ) Click on the Enter a Race Meeting icon Enter your log on details Under My Details functions, choose Pre Enter Race Meeting Choose the State in which the Meeting is being held Choose the Club who is the Organiser of the Meeting 4.2. Payment of the Entry Fee can be made as follows: Credit Card: Mastercard Visa Credit card processing fee of 2.04% IS payable 5. MINIMUM ENTRIES 5.1. 8 is the minimum number of pre entries which must be received for each Class and/or Division. 5.2. 5.3. Any Classes which have not met Minimum Entries by close of Online Entries at 7pm Sunday 17 th June WILL BE CANCELLED. If a Class or Division is cancelled, the Entry Fee may be refunded at the discretion of the Organiser and in accordance with the Rules. 3. COMPETITION 1. FORMAT OF RACING 2. Practice 1 Practice session of 6 minutes will be held. 3. Qualifying 4. 5. Heats & Final Starting Procedure There will be Timed Qualifying at this Event. There will be one (1) standalone Qualifying session of 6 minutes The order of Karts on the grid for the commencement of Qualifying must be random no high/low numbers) The system of gridding will be in accordance with State Regulations - Cup Competition Format 9 As per Competition Rules, Chapter 1, Rule 22 of the 2018 Karting Australia Manual The Start signal for all races is when the RED LIGHT is turned OFF by the Starter. FUEL 10.1. PULP 98 is the only fuel permitted to be used at this Meeting. 11. TIMETABLE 11.1 Friday 22/06/2018 Time Activity a) 7am Gates open b) 8am to 4pm Track available for Unofficial Practice 8 min sessions (in Race Order if required) c) 5pm to 7pm Driver Registration and Scrutineering for D Grade Licence holders, and Restrictor inspection and sealing. Saturday 23/06/2018 d) 6:30am Gates Open e) 7am to 7:40am Driver Registration and Scrutineering for D Grade Licence holders, and Restrictor inspection and sealing. f) 7:45am & 8:00am Separate Drivers Briefs: Seniors at 7:45am & Cadets/Juniors at 8:00am g) 8:30am Practice 1 x 6 minutes session in Race Order h) 10am Qualifying 1 x 6 minutes session i) 11:30am Racing commences through to completion of Heat 3 or light permitting if delayed. TROPHIES & PRIZES 12.1. a) Trophies will be awarded to top three (3) positions determined by overall race meeting points. 12.2. b) Random Prize Draw will occur after Trophy Presentation you must be present to claim your prize. 4. CIRCUIT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS 1. PADDOCK ALLOCATION Paddock allocation Will occur for the Meeting Pit Allocation Forms MUST be received no later than Sunday 17 th June 2018. Late Entries are not guaranteed Pit Allocation and may need to find someone to share with. 2. MEDICAL SERVICES 2.1. Any Medical assistance that is required outside of the operating hours when Kart s are not on the Race Track please contact 000. The address to give to the Emergency Services is: Your Specific Location Tiger Kart Club Cockburn International Raceway 6 Gemma Road, Henderson WA (nearest intersecting street is Cockburn Road) 3. KART RETRIEVAL 3.1. Pit Crew with trolleys will not be given access to the Circuit during Qualifying and Racing. 3.2. Retrieval of Karts is at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course 3.3. Pit Crew must only enter the Circuit when permitted by the Grid Marshal and then only if wearing a HIGH VISIBILITY SAFETY VEST on the upper torso. 3.4. Karts can be retrieved via In Grid or Out Grid once ALL KARTS HAVE CONCLUDED THAT RACE 4. ADDITIONAL VENUE REQUIREMENTS 4.1. Subject to any applicable laws which may govern the access of animals, including but not limited to guide dogs, no animals are allowed anywhere within the facility. 4.2. No dumping of Fuel or Tyres, please make own arrangements. 4.3. No unlicenced driving of motor vehicles permitted at the Circuit. 4.4. No motorised scooters, mini bikes, roller blading, skateboards and tricycles allowed at the complex during the entire Meeting. Officials may confiscate any such items for the duration of the Meeting. 4.5. Marquees are not to be erected without consent of the Club. 4.6. NO REMOTE CONTROL CARS OF ANY KIND ARE TO BE USED AT ALL FOR THE DURATION OF THE MEETING. 4.7. Barcoding MAY occur at this meeting. 4.8. It is the Driver s responsibility to ensure all RESTRICTORS are checked & sealed before Drivers Brief. 4.9. 4.10. Mandatory Forward Facing Video Recording System All Karts competing in this Meeting must at all times have a fully operational forward-facing video recording system that is mounted in accordance with Technical Rules, Chapter 1, Rule 8 i) (iv) Video Recording Systems Recording Medium (SD Card) Procedures a) A separate SD Card must be used for each Class contested at an Event. b) Prior to the commencement of on-track activity on each day of competition, the Recording Medium used in the camera fitted to a kart must be completely cleared and reformatted. c) No recorded vision on the Recording Medium may be deleted from the time that on-track activity has commenced on each day of competition until 0700 hours the next day, without prior written permission from the Stewards. Smoking i. The Tiger Kart Club paddock is designated as a public area at a Meeting. As such it is a NO SMOKING area. ii. Smoking in the Paddock is strictly prohibited. 4.11. Full Course Yellow a) When the order is given to neutralise the Race, all Flag points will display yellow lights / waved yellow flags. i. The order to neutralise the Race will be the words FULL COURSE YELLOW ii. A SLOW board will be displayed at the Start Line and generally one other location around the Race Track. iii. These will be displayed until immediately before racing recommences under Green Light / Flag conditions. b) When the Full Course Yellow order is given, and yellow lights / waved yellow flags are displayed, all of the karts in the Race must: i. Stop racing, slow down (Refer to: Competition Rules Chapter 2 Rule 4 e) and line up behind the lead kart in single file. ii. Overtaking is strictly forbidden. The sole exception to this is if a kart slows down because of a serious problem and can not keep up. iii. Once the line has formed and it is safe to do so, Drivers are permitted to weave on the straights to keep their tyres warm. c) During the neutralized laps. The leading kart will dictate the pace of the other karts. All drivers should drive at a consistent, moderate speed. i. All the other karts must remain in a tight single file formation with one (1) kart length between each kart. d) When the Clerk of Course decides to end the neutralization, they will order that the yellow lights be switched off and the yellow flags will be held immobile (they will not be waved). i. This will be the signal to the Drivers that the Race will resume the next time that the Karts cross the Start Line. ii. The SLOW boards will continue to be displayed until immediately before the racing is recommenced. iii. The leading kart will continue to set the pace at a consistent, moderate speed. e) The Clerk of Course will give the instruction to the Starter for the resumption of the Race. i. The SLOW boards will be withdrawn from the Race Track. ii. The Starter will display the Green Flag / switch the lights to Green to indicate the resumption of racing. iii. Drivers may accelerate only after the Green Flag is displayed by the Starter. iv. Overtaking is prohibited until your kart has crossed the Start Line under Green Light / Green Flag conditions. The sole exception of this is if a kart slows down because of a serious problem. f) Each lap completed during the neutralization will be counted as a racing lap. g) If the Race finishes during the neutralization, the karts will take the chequered flag as usual. 4.12. 4.13. Race Control Should you be required to report to the Officials you will be required to present yourself to the Clerk of Course or Assistant Clerk of Course. Access to the Race Control section of the Control Tower is prohibited.
