St Louis Imperial Dance Club The Original Imperial Dance Club in St. Louis Swingin Times Well, we ended the First Quarter of 2017 with a joint dance with our sister club, St. Charles Imperial Dance Club. We helped them celebrate their move to their Old/New venue at the American Legion on Raymond Drive in St. Charles. Approximately 150 dance friends attended this dance. A good time was had by all and our two clubs enjoyed joining together. Our DJ for the evening was Bud (Doug) Waters if you were there you will understand the play SLIDC Board Members for 2016 on Bud's name. th For our April dance (April 15 ), our theme was Flower Power. We President Judy Ciaramitaro had live flowers for our centerpieces and we placed a sticker under president@stlidc.com one chair of each table and the person in the chair took home the Vice President Rusty Sullivan centerpiece. We asked our dancers to bring bulbs and seeds to vicepresident@stlidc.com share and everyone was very generous. At this dance, we gave Treasurer Boyd Brown away some attendance prizes and our winner of the raffle for the treasurer@stlidc.com smart TV was our very own DJ, Jimmy Bedrosian. The writer will be teaching a line dance for the St. Charles Club on the 30th of April Secretary Rusty Sullivan (Acting) that we learned at the Jefferson City Convention. It is called AH SI secretary@stlidccom and it is a four wall dance done to music of the same name and it is Member @ Large Mary Zeilmann upbeat and fun. member@large@stlidc.com For our May dance we will be honoring our Veterans and it will be on Member @ Large, Anita Feldman the 20th of May. Be sure when you attend to wish our very own board st member@large@stlidc.com member, Anita Feldman, a very happy birthday. Her birthday is the 21 of May and it is a milestone birthday! Member @ Large, I am sorry to report that our June dance is cancelled. This is our George Scott, second time experiencing some conflicts with scheduling at our venue. member@large@stlidc.com But no fear we will return in July.
