The Toilet Safety Support is to be used only as an aid in rising from and sitting on the toilet, but is not meant to provide complete support for an individual. Users with limited physical capabilities should be supervised or assisted when using the Support. Distribute weight evenly and use both hands during use. Uneven weight distribution may cause the Toilet Safety Support to unexpectedly tilt or lift up on one side. 5. WARNING! Watch your step when entering and exiting the Toilet Safety Support. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number shown on the cover of this manual as soon as possible. Assembly Read the entire Important Safeguards section at the beginning of this manual including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product. WARNING Before appliance assembly or adjustment, make sure the appliance s switch is turned off, the cord is unplugged, and the unit has cooled completely. Note: For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following pages, refer to the Assembly Diagram on page 6. Assembly of this product may be easier if done by two people. 1. Place Bottom Support Bar (H) onto a flat surface. Set the Left Side Bar (E) and Right Side Bar (F) (one on each side) of the Bottom Support Bar (H). 3. 4. Slide Washer (A) onto Long Screw (D) and slide Long Screw (D) through Left Side Bar (E) and through Bottom Support Bar (H). Slide on another Washer (A) and hand thread on Nut (B) to secure in place. Repeat procedure for second hole. Secure Right Side Bar (F) in similar fashion. Fully tighten all Nuts (B). Set the U-Shaped Support Bar (G) between the Left Side Bar (E) and Right Side Bar (F). See Assembly Diagram on page 6 for proper positioning. 5. Insert a Washer (A) onto Short Screw (C) and slide through Left Side Bar (E) and through U-Shaped Support Bar (G). Slide on another Washer (A) and thread on Nut (B) to secure in place. Repeat procedure for second hole. Secure Right Side Bar (F) in similar fashion. See Figure 1 on next page. REV 08e Page 4

Upon completion of assembly, test the product for stability. Make certain that it is level to the floor surface. Hardware should be fully tightened. USE AND Operation 1. Set the Toilet Safety Support so that the open space at the bottom of the Support will fit as close to the toilet as possible (Bottom Support Bar (H) fits around base of toilet). Grasp on the Toilet Support foam handles (one hand on each handle), making certain that your weight is distributed equally. 3. WARNING! Uneven weight distribution may result in movement of the Toilet Support creating unsafe support for the user. INSPECTION and MAINTENANCE WARNING Do not use damaged appliances. Have the problem corrected before further use. 1. BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the appliance. Check for loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation. Page 5
