Please stay in the hitting areas. Try to limit your hitting area to a square (try not to move the ball all over the hitting area for each shot.). Start in the front and place your next shot 1 behind your last divot until you have a stripe. Then start next to the first shot and begin the process again. Please help us maintain the level of balls available by trying to avoid hitting balls into the woods. Please hit balls responsibly. If you see someone on the range, a maintenance vehicle or the range attendant, please keep their safety in mind. Bag Storage Bag Storage - $125 per bag per season The Bag Storage service, comprised of pulling your clubs from storage, loading them as you desire, cleaning them and returning them to storage, will be available all golf season long. All walkers must check in with the Golf Shop or starter prior to beginning play. Golf Car Rules: Please park golf car on the paths around greens and tees. Please do not drive golf cars closer than 30 yards from greens. Golf cars must stay on paths on par 3 s. Please take notice and obey all golf car directional signs and keep golf cars out of staked areas. EVERYONE! Instead of ropes near cart paths or other areas, rows of stakes may be used to indicate golf car directions. If you see a row of stakes, please stay on the path until the row ends. If you see a row of stakes in the fairway directing you, please observe the direction and do not drive between stakes. All golf car rules are in place to protect you and your golf course! Golf Car Availability: Golf cars will be available during Golf Shop hours only. Please do not ask the golf car attendants for a golf car before or after Golf Shop hours. Plans are currently being discussed to address after hours I just want to play a few holes issues. Golf Car Return Time (Evenings): All golf cars must be returned to the staging/starting area by dusk. This is to protect you. Red Flags: At times golf cars will be restricted to the cart paths. Red Flags may be given out to handicapped players to stray from the cart path when other players are required to keep golf cars on the paths. A Red Flag does not give a player permission to drive the golf car up to the green or tees. A player with a Red Flag must drive their own golf car, when available, with no passenger. If the course is very wet and may be damaged, Red Flags may not be given out. Anyone needing a Red Flag will be directed on how to proceed. Disregard of the Red Flag golf car policies will result in denial of this privilege in the future. Tee Times/Start Times Tee Times/Start Times will be on a first come first served basis. 75% or more of your group must be present to get on the tee sheet for an assigned start. Social members may not play as a guest of a member in a Member-Guest or other tournaments. 4. During spring and fall, special guest promotions may be available. Please check with the golf shop and keep an eye out for emails and promotions. 5. It may be determined that no guests may play on weekends before 12:00pm based on tee time availability. This will be reviewed during the season and revised if necessary. Junior Member Rules and Regulations Juniors under the age of 18 are restricted from playing before 11:30 am on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. Junior golfers under the age of 18 may play anytime if they are certified by the Golf Professional and the Golf Committee Members must be of the age of 18 and have a valid drivers license to rent a golf cart Junior members are asked not to be on the driving range before 10:30am of Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. Please be considerate on the driving range of other members trying to warm up or practicing before a round. If you have two or more family members hitting balls at the same time would you please share the hitting during busy times to allow space for on coming members. The Golf Professionals reserve the right to adjust tee times for junior golfers based on by level of play and/or course congestion. Golf Course Etiquette 1. Please rake bunkers, fix ball marks, replace your divots and use the seed and soil mixture on golf cars to fill divots. 2. Please let faster groups play through if there are holes open in front of you. It is mandatory if a faster foursome asks you to play through; you must let them through if there are open holes in front of you. A twosome or threesome does not have that same right, although if there is room in front, it would be a courtesy to let them through. Please do not go past or through a group without asking permission. 3. Please drive golf cars carefully and competently. We feel that as a Member you will use common sense. Please avoid practices that may damage playing surfaces, make skid marks or leave tire ruts. 4. Please get the attention of maintenance workers on the golf course before you hit a shot. Please do not hit into them. Not all work can be completed before 10:00am every day. There will be days you encounter a maintenance person. 5. Please give players waiting to hit off the tee box privacy. We all can t wait to start our day, but please give a little room. 6. Do not hit into groups in front of you. There is no excuse for this practice and it will not be tolerated for any reason. Accidents do happen, the proper way, the only way to excuse this is to drive ahead and apologize for your error to the group in front of you. 7. Please do not practice hitting balls on the golf course. From time to time, dropping another ball, if you are not holding anyone up, is acceptable but dropping multiple balls and practicing is not acceptable. 8. Please maintain a 4-hour pace of play. It has been determined that it takes 2 hours or less to play 9-holes at Oronoque C.C. If your group is playing slower than that, you will be asked to pick up your pace if you are holding other groups up. If it is late and there is no-one behind you,

play as slowly as you desire. Pace of play will be determined by the amount of space between your group and the group in front of you. If you fall further behind, more than 1 complete hole, you may be asked to pick up your golf balls and go directly to the next tee. 9. If you are playing with customers or friends. Please inform your guests on the first tee, and before you tee off that their pace of play will be a most important consideration today. 10. Do not help slower players in front of you by allowing them to hear you prod them or yelling ahead for them to move it! This is not an acceptable procedure to handle slow play. Please call the golf shop and a ranger or golf professional will assess the situation and address the slow play problem for you. 11. If a group is playing at a 2 hour pace for 9-holes, you must not prod them, call to them, or use any other means of pushing them, even though your group wants to play faster. 12. Foursomes DO NOT HAVE TO let smaller groups through. We expect that if your group is slower or there is a twosome behind you and no-one in front, you would let them through at your earliest convenience. 13. Please do not stop for lunch between nines. If you stop, you will lose your turn on the tenth tee and you will have to wait until there is a gap from the 9 th green before you may re-start your round. You may not resume your round if you stop until the Golf Shop or Starter can find a slot for you without disrupting other groups. Oronoque Country Club & MGA 2012 Tournament Policies: 1. You must stop by in person or call the golf shop to sign up for a tournament. Entries will be accepted when the golf shop opens on the day of sign-ups. We WILL NOT accept voice mail sign ups or emailed sign ups. You must talk to a person. (Except for the Men s 3-Day Member-Guest.) (See Men s 3-Day Member-Guest sign up information under MGA Tournament Schedule) 2. If you must cancel or cannot play in an event that you signed up to play in, you must call the golf shop ASAP. If you signed up for an event and you do not call and you do not show up, you will not be eligible for the next event and you will be charged any associated food costs for that particular event. 3. Scrambles and teams are made up randomly, usually ABCD and are usually within a couple of handicap stokes between teams. 4. Prizes are awarded as credit in the golf shop. All credit MUST BE SPENT BY THE END OF THE SEASON. 5. Trophies are given out during the Fall Scramble and Awards Banquet. There is no charge for this dinner for Oronoque MGA Members. 6. Rules for each competition will be provided. 7. Trophy events are the Presidents Cup and Club Championship. For all MGA events, credit will be applied in the golf shop and the winners will be posted the following week. All Member-Guest Tournaments will be gift certificates from the golf shop. 8. You must turn your score card in to the golf professional signed and attested for any event. If no score card is turned in, immediately following your round, you or your team will be deemed a no card and are not eligible for prizes or qualifying. 9. Qualifiers for any event must play with another qualifier. If no other qualifier is available when you can qualify, the golf professional will appoint a spotter for you to attest your score. 10. There will be a number of Golf Shop Sponsored events provided throughout the season. There will be a fee for each of these events. All prizes will be awarded as golf shop credit in the golf shop or gift certificates. No cash prizes will be awarded. These are not MGA events. 11. If you are late for a match play event: once all players have putted out on the first hole and you are still not present, you are disqualified and your opponent is the winner. 12. If you cannot show for a scheduled match, you may ask your opponent for a re-scheduled date to contest the match as long as it does not interfere with the normal time frame of the competition, both players agree to the change and the match can be concluded before the next scheduled round of the competition. If your opponent cannot reschedule the match and you cannot make the scheduled match time and date, they will be awarded a bye, you will be disqualified and they move on to the next match in the competition. Please keep the dates of the competition in mind when you sign up for a match. It is not fair to other competitors if you know you cannot make every match. 13. Any rules questions, the golf professional s decision is final. If you are playing a match, any rules questions must be resolved before the next shot. If you are playing a stroke play tournament, a second ball may be played and you may ask the golf professional at your earliest opportunity for a ruling. 14. All Tournament Scores or events scores must be posted as a Tournament Round on the handicap computer in order to be eligible for prize money. If you do not know how to do this, please see one of the

Golf Professionals and they will show you how to do it. The handicap committee will check this regularly. 15. YOU MUST POST ALL SCORES PLAYED IN A TIMELY MANNER. If you do not post the rounds you play, your handicap may be reduced or you may not be eligible to participate in our events. The handicap committee will check this regularly. You are responsible for posting your scores, no-one else. If you have any questions or problems posting your scores, please see a Golf Professional and they will help you. This is just as important, if you have a guest participating in a Member- Guest event that has not posted rounds played, and it can be verified that player has played and not posted rounds, your entry may be denied and the next person on the wait list will be awarded your spot or you may be ineligible for prize money. NOTE: * Weekday Members will be charged associated greens fees for all MGA events conducted on weekends and holidays. Weekday Members will be on a stand by basis when signing up for MGA events and will be allowed entry 1 week prior to the event if there is space available. Carts are not included in entry fees.
