The Baltic Taucher Comanche ROV The Baltic Taucher Comanche ROV is the ideal choice when seeking a Work Class Solution in a small package. Offering a generous 15Kw / 20Hp Hydraulic Power Unit for Work Class tooling and manipulation combined with a powerful control and telemetry package for survey and other data collection, the Comanche offers high performance, high reliability and high adaptability while remaining highly flexible. Work class integration and high quality survey results in a package utilising less deck space than comparable systems. The ROV can be used as a free flying vehicle or with a Tether Management System. AUTO POSITION The Baltic Taucher Comanche ROV has auto position and is able to give a fully accurate position while subsea without the use of a USBL / LBL system. The ROVs extensive survey and auto positioning capability makes it one of the most versatile Comanche systems on the market. Decades of relevant experience have allowed Baltic Taucher engineers to customize these ROVs to suit the needs of a modern customer. A dual-redundant telemetry system provides multiple Gigabit Ethernet and SD/HD Video channels, the integrated high quality DVL, FOG and INS sensors provide accurate feedback on the exact attitude of the vehicle, and flexible power delivery options allow the ROV to integrate almost any suite of sensors. Hydraulic tooling loadouts including cutters, dredge systems and rotary brushes can be accommodated alongside the Orion 4 and 7 function manipulators. 3
