While the winter was far from predictable, the ground hog stated we would have 6 more weeks of winter. This brings to mind another fresh start to the New Year with both Winter Archery and Winter Trap League. It is hard to believe we are half way through the season and before long will have the club active with youth shooting for CWYTL and also the start of the high School Trap League. In speaking of the youth shooting, BCC is very fortunate to have some talented youth shooters that call our club home. Richard Ole Olson was awarded the State All Star Junior Award while RJ Gropp was just featured in Trap and Field in the February edition of the AIM profile. These are just a few of the remarkable youth shooters coming through our door. I am sure more are to follow which is a big thank you to the members that put the extra effort in coaching these youth. With all the events upcoming one of our biggest fund raisers, our 27 th Annual Banquet, will have come and gone for another year. If you took the time to help out or just attend to support the club, thank you all very much. I sincerely hope you all liked the new format and had a great time. Congrats to all the winners and remember to tell the others that did not attend to make sure they mark their calendars for next year. Profits from this event help us to develop youth programs and club improvements which we all enjoy. Speaking of club involvement, The Bi-Annual Membership meeting, that includes the election of board members will be coming up in March, So mark your calendars for the 12 th at 7:00pm. We will have 4 board positions to vote for during this time. For the members that have put time on the board thank you all. We have done a lot of great things to the facility. Once again, I want to thank you, the membership, to allow me the privilege of being your club president. I look forward to working with the upcoming board as we start to prepare for the hosting of the 2020 ATA Northeast Zone Shoot. In closing, I would like to reach out to the membership and ask that each of you take some time to give back to the club whether donating time to help at a shoot or share your skills to make this club better than it already is. I know you all heard this a million times but this is your club let s make it a great one! See you out on the line, Respectfully Submitted, Gary Witzke- President gwitzke@outlook.com 920-204-1329
