ENTRY PROCEDURE 4.1 Each Entry for this Meeting may be made using the CMS as follows: Log on to your driver information via http://www.karting.net.au/ Click on the licence and entries icon (top centre of the screen ) Click on the Enter a Race Meeting icon Enter your log on details Under My Details functions, choose Pre Enter Race Meeting Choose the State in which the Meeting is being held Choose the Club who is the Organiser of the Meeting 4.2 Payment of the Entry Fee can be made as follows: Credit Card: Mastercard Visa Credit card processing fee of $0.00 per payment$<choose a $ amount> Select payable Payment at the Track for Late Entries Will be accepted. If accepted, the following payment methods are available: Cash / Debit Card / Approved Cheque Credit Card 5. MINIMUM ENTRIES 5.1 4 is the minimum number of pre entries which must be received for each Competition Group. 5.2 If insufficient entries are received for a Competition Group to form in its own right, the Competition Group must be consolidated in accordance with the Competition Rules Chapter 1 Rule 9. 3. COMPETITION 1. FORMAT OF RACING 1.1 Practice 2 Timed Practice session of 6 minutes will be held. There Will be Timed Qualifying at this Event. 1.2 Qualifying There will be one (1) Qualifying session of 6 minutes 6 minutes If Timed Qualifying occurs (Order of Karts on the grid must be random no high/low numbers) 1.3 Heats & Final 2. DISTANCES The system of gridding will be in accordance with State Regulations Zonal Competition Format 3 Heat 1 15 Heat 2 15 Heat 3 22 Final 30 3. ACCESS TO CIRCUIT 3.1 Competitors will be permitted to enter the Circuit from 4pm on 20/10/2017 4. DRIVERS BRIEFING 4.1 DATE: 9/12/2017 TIME: 12:15pm LOCATION: Out Grid Undercover area 5. 5.1 PULP is the only fuel permitted to be used at this Meeting. 5.2 Control Fuel Will be used at this Meeting. PLEASE NOTE 5.3 Supply details for Control Fuel (if used) are: a) Mobil Premium Unleaded Petrol 98 for use at this Meeting must be purchased from: b) Mobil Edmonton Central Service Station, Hambledon Drive, Edmonton Qld 4869 c) Proof of purchase of the fuel must be retained and produced to the Chief Scrutineer, Scrutineer or Fuel Tester if requested. A sample (minimum of 1 litre) of fuel unmixed with oil, as well as oil (minimum 50ml) unmixed with fuel must be provided on request to the Chief Scrutineer, Scrutineer or Fuel Tester at any time before, during or after the meeting on the day. Multiple requests of samples may be required to verify fuel/oil used. 6. TROPHIES AND PRIZES 7.1 FINAL ONLY COUNTS 1 st, 2 nd and, 3 rd Trophies awarded to classes with minimum of 4 or more Nominations per class. If less than 4 nominations only 1 st place trophy will awarded per class. DOUBLE Points for FINAL Round of Series Trophies awarded to 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd based on accumulated points across all rounds. Refer NQ Series Regulations. 4. CIRCUIT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS 1. 2. MEDICAL SERVICES 2.1. Any Medical assistance that is required outside of the operating hours when Kart s are not on the Race Track please contact 000. The address to give to the Emergency Services is: Your Specific Location Cairns International Raceway or Arthur Strike Raceway Thompson/Fishermans Road, Edmonton Qld 4869 3. KART RETRIEVAL 3.1. Pit Crew with trolleys Will be given access to the Circuit during Qualifying and Racing. 3.2. Retrieval of Karts is at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course 3.3. Pit Crew must only enter the Circuit when permitted by the Grid Marshal or the Clerk of the Course and then only if wearing a HIGH VISIBILITY SAFETY VEST on the upper torso. 4. ADDITIONAL VENUE REQUIREMENTS 4.1. Subject to any applicable laws which may govern the access of animals, including but not limited to guide dogs, no animals are allowed anywhere within the facility. 4.2. No dumping of Fuel or Tyres, please make your own arrangements. 4.3. No unlicenced driving of motor vehicles permitted at the Circuit. 4.4. No motorised scooters, mini bikes, roller blading, skateboards and tricycles allowed at the complex during the entire Meeting. Officials may confiscate any such items for the duration of the Meeting. 4.5. Marquees are not to be erected without consent of the Club. 4.6. 4.7. Pitting inside the Speedway is confined, it is preferred that karters to pit from Shade Structures in the lower area. Pitting from Trailers is also permitted Long Trailers up against the speedway wall, Short Trailers in Spoon Drain (Trailers to be parked so that there ample space between top of speedway wall and spoon drain.) Once inside area is filled to capacity Pitting will spread into the carpark area. Camping is allowed in the Car park area Friday and Saturday night for a small fee of $10 per camp. The facilities will be open per clause 6 Timetable above. 4.8. Tyre marking will be performed at this meeting.
