Competitors must be a CURRENT EA member or Northside Member IMPORTANT: All membership renewals must be done ONLINE ONLY via Nominate and prior to the event in which the rider wishes to compete. Members can join from the age of 5 upwards (only the Hacking phase will allow riders to be led). Members under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian who is 18 years or over. Please note trial memberships are no longer be offered. Un-used Helper Vouchers can still be used if the voucher is presented to the phase head on the day of the event. Rules & Regulations - All exhibitors and competitors compete at their own risk. Ribbons to third place (unless otherwise stated) - This show will be conducted in accordance with the rules, regulations and bi-laws of Equestrian Australia which can be viewed at: www.equestrian.org.au/. Competitors are advised that it is their responsibility to read and abide by the rules of Equestrian Australia. - Northside Riding Club shall not be responsible for the loss of, or for any damage or injury occasioned to any exhibit or property of any exhibitor(s) for any cause whatsoev- er. - The organising committee reserve the right to alter the program, judges or schedule. - The judges decision is final subject to all other conditions being met. - Protests must be delivered in writing to the Secretary no later than one hour after the class in question. A $50.00 fee must accompany the protest and will be forfeited if the protest is not upheld by the disputes committee. - STALLIONS: Are not permitted in the Funkhana or Novice Rings. They must be ridden/handled by exhibitors over 18 years and wear a green tag for identification - Dogs must be kept on leashes at all times. - The committee reserves the right to refuse or withdraw any entry/entries without having to assign a reason. No claim shall be made against either association. - All riders are required to wear approved safety helmet and boots. Any breach of this rule may lead to the exhibitors disqualification. -A rider not suitably attired may be precluded by the stewards from competing in an event. - All exhibitors and competitors are required to pay a $5 ground fee per horse. - Childs classes: Must be ridden by a child under 17 years. If the horse competes in the - Childs class, it must not compete in the Adults class. - Adults class: Must be ridden by an adult over 17 years. If the horse competes in the Adults class, it must not compete in the Childs class. - No refunds will be given. - Negative behaviour will be not tolerated and the Association reserves the right to ask patrons to leave the grounds if they deem this necessary. -, Galloway or hack: horse or rider must be a resident in Ku-Ring-Gai, Warringah, Manly or Pittwater Municipality. - Novice classes are open to horses or riders who have never won a similar event at any agricultural show or Royal Show. - Intermediate classes are open to horses who have not won a first, second or third placing in a solo event at any Royal. - Championship classes will consist of the winners of their respective classes. Reserve Champion will consist of the winners of their respective classes other than the class or classes from which the Champion was drawn, together with the second prize winners from the class or classes from which the Champion was drawn, may compete for this award.

Champion and Reserve titles will then be given to the overall highest and second highest scoring combinations. Competitors may enter two consecutive height classes (e.g.: Class 2 & Class 3) Horse entered in Open Hack classes are not eligible to enter Working Hunter Classes Presentation of ribbons will take place immediately following the completion of the class.
