RENO RODEO PARADE INFORMATION AND RULES Be at the assigned staging area for your section on time. Remember, parking may be congested and difficult. Plan in advance. Report to the section Parade Marshal. Locate your entry s number position. Some large entries may be directed to have one member hold their assigned location while other members wait to the side until more room is available. Follow all instructions issued by the Parade Marshals during both assembly and the actual Parade. Failure to do so may result in disqualification, future barred entry and/or removal from the Parade. Any discharge of firearms are absolutely forbidden. Failure to observe this rule will result in immediate removal and permanent disqualification from the Parade. Campaigning for political office is strictly forbidden (i.e., posters, passing out flyers, etc.). Failure to observe this rule will result in immediate removal from the Parade. During the Parade, no stopping will be permitted unless you are halted by entries ahead of you or a Parade Marshal s specific instruction. During the Parade, maintain proper spacing in accordance with your Parade Marshal s instruction. No more than 40 feet behind the entry in front of you. If you wish to give away candy or toys, have someone on foot handing them out, away from the moving entry. BE WATCHFUL FOR & CAREFUL OF CHILDREN.
