Sponsorship Package 2013

Gymnastics Energy Sponsorship Program Dear Sponsor, Gymnastics Energy is a non profit athletic organization that has been serving the Niagara region for over 40 years. We have grown to a membership base of over 1000 athletes, and now need to expand our existing facility in order to accommodate this growth. We are working with community partners on fundraising initiatives and are looking to earn the support and respect of community corporate sponsors to help us achieve our expansion goals. Gymnastics Energy is a non-profit organization that is governed by a volunteer board of directors, comprised primarily of parents of competitive athletes. Our club is proud to offer subsidized programs to Family and Child Services in Niagara, and special needs children across the region. We welcome athletes of all levels and abilities, and with the help of programs such as Canadian Tire Jumpstart, YMCA Prokids and KidSport Niagara, we strive to ensure that gymnastics is accessible to all. Your donation can make a huge difference to the quality of our athletes experiences. Included in this sponsorship package is information on what Gymnastics Energy has to offer, as well as a list of various levels of sponsorship. ENERGY S TRAINING FACILITY: Our facility provides the youth of the Niagara region the opportunity to experience the sport of gymnastics in a facility that offers 18,000 sq. ft of training space. Located at 101 Hannover Drive in St. Catharines, the club houses a large variety of specialized gymnastics equipment including in-ground trampolines, foam pits, a vault, balance beams, uneven bars, and two dance rooms. We have several floor spaces, a power tumbling strip, rings, parallel bars, high bars, a pommel horse and a wide variety of accessory equipment to facilitate learning. Gymnastics Energy is grateful for the grants we have received from the Trillium Foundation, the City of St. Catharine s, and the donations of many community sponsors. These have assisted us in creating this bright, spacious training centre that we are proud of. Even with this large facility, Gymnastics Energy is bursting at the seams. We need to upgrade our gym in order to maintain the standard of excellence we have come to be known for.

Page 3 OUR CLUB: Every year, nearly a thousand children of all ages swing, bounce and flip with us. Our programs emphasize fun, fitness and the fundamentals of gymnastics. We instruct children ranging from 18 months to adult and at every skill level whether it is competitive, recreational or special needs. Recreational: At Gymnastics Energy we offer recreational programs for everyone. These range from parent and tot classes, kindergym programs for little ones with boundless energy, and classes for children between 6 and 12 years of age, whether they are beginners or more advanced participants who have become quite proficient in the sport. We also have specialty programs such as tumbling, trampoline and rhythmic gymnastics. Even adults are welcome to join us for an adult open gym class, where they can try something new or perhaps try to regain skills from their youth. We are also proud to be partnered with the Niagara chapter of Autism Ontario. Gymnastics Energy and Autism Ontario have worked together to provide gymnastics classes to a registered group of autistic children at no cost to their parents. Competitive: Gymnastics Energy offers progressive pre-competitive and competitive programs designed to prepare carefully selected individuals for invitational, provincial or national level competition. These athletes not only strive to master and perform the challenging sport of gymnastics, but they also learn the valuable life skills of time management, discipline, dedication and team work. Athletes are challenged by our positive, supportive coaching staff in what has become a family-like atmosphere. PHILOSOPHY: Gymnastics Energy s vision is to promote health and wellness through quality instruction, in an environment of co-operation and active participation, in order to reach each athlete s maximum potential. Our club s belief is that positive energy equals positive results. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere where every athlete feels accepted, valued and respected. We believe that developing young disciplined athletes through the sport of gymnastics will enrich their lives for years to come.

Page 4 GYMNASTICS ENERGY SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM OUR COACHING STAFF: All our coaches are certified through the National Coaching Certification Program and Gymnastics Ontario's Risk Management Program. Our coaches are fully committed to providing each athlete with the skills, knowledge, support and encouragement required in order for each athlete to be the best that they can be. We have implemented a valuable coach-in-training program where our young men and women shadow and learn from their certified peers. Gymnastics Energy s coaching team offers a professional, nurturing environment where every athlete s accomplishments are celebrated. CLUB STRUCTURE: Gymnastics Energy is a non-profit organization that operates under the leadership of a volunteer board of directors. This board consists mainly of parents of competitive athletes. The board of directors, along with Gymnastics Energy s head coach Jason Lang, the Women s Competitive Program Manager Adriana Forde, and the Recreational Coordinator Michelle Tucker, strive to manage the club to ensure its continued growth, as well as the satisfaction and enjoyment of all its members. 2012 ACCOMPLISHMENTS: In 2012 Gymnastics Energy increased its overall membership to over 1000 athletes Gymnastics Energy established and maintained partnerships with: THE CITY OF ST. CATHARINES, FACS, AUTISTISM ONTARIO, THE NIAGARA SPORT COMMISSION and the CAA WINTER FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS Athletes actively participated in community events, such as the Merritton Labour Day Parade, the 2012 Niagara Grape and Wine Festival Parade, the Thorold Santa Clause parade, and Cintron Sportsfest Niagara Competitive athletes performed dance and tumbling in the Hamilton Tiger Cats half time show Gymnastics Energy successfully hosted three competitions: the Chinese New Year Invitational, Gymnastics Ontario s Women s Provincial Qualifier and the Boy s June Invitational. These events attract vendors, athletes and dignitaries from across the province Gymnastics Energy competed our first Pre-Novice National Aspire athlete in the Women s program Two of our competitive female athletes qualified at tour selection to represent team Ontario in Mexico One of our competitive male athletes qualified at tour selection to represent team Ontario in Calgary at the Kyle Shewfelt Invitational and Festival of Gymnastics Two of our male athletes were the provincial champions of Ontario in their respective age groups Four of our athletes qualified to represent team Ontario at Eastern Canadian Championships in Quebec City. They all performed extremely well and made our club very proud.

Page 4 BECOMING PART OF THE SPONSORSHIP CLUB Gymnastics Energy is very proud of the past years accomplishments, and we are looking toward continued growth and development in the future. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all of our past community sponsors, and we hope that they will continue to support us in the coming years as we strive for even greater goals. Our business has grown to capacity, due in no small part to the strength of both the recreational and the competitive staff. Our club is gaining a strong reputation throughout the province in our ability to produce quality athletes in both the men s and the women s programs. We would like to build on this success nationally. In order to accommodate our growth Gymnastics Energy needs to expand our facility! We are looking to our community partners and corporate sponsorships to help us achieve this goal. Gymnastics Energy is inviting local businesses and community groups to work hand to hand with us, and to join our sponsorship club. Sponsorship will not only support our community s youth; it will also allow the opportunity to promote your company via our facilities and marketing resources. Becoming part of Gymnastics Energy sponsorship club is easy.
