The inaugural event was a huge success and was attended by a variety of great companies with a fantastic collection of celebrities who generously gave their time to enjoy the day with our guests. Most importantly, we raised a substantial amount of much needed funds for the charities that we chose to support. I always feel that A Happy Wife is a Happy Life so this year we are encouraging our golfers to invite their partners for a day of relaxation at Celtic Manor and to join us for dinner & drinks in the evening. Event program Meet and greet at Celtic Manor Resort, The Twenty Ten Clubhouse, from 8:30am. A valet parking service will be in operation. Full Welsh breakfast buffet on arrival. Each golfer to be given an exclusive gift pack and team kit. Registration at Celtic Manor s Twenty Ten by VPAR. Shuttles to driving range from 9am to practice before your game. 18 Holes on The Twenty Ten Golf Course shotgun start at 11am. 4ball teams, each including one of Mike Tindall s celebrity friends. Whole lamb/hog roast at the halfway house. Complimentary post golf drinks served at the Spike Bar. Partners of golfers are encouraged to enjoy a day of relaxation at the Celtic Manor Spa. Champagne reception to kick off the evenings festivities where partners are invited to join the golfers for an evening to remember. Show your support for our military servicemen and women RUGBY FOR HEROES is a charity formed by a group of professional rugby players in order to show their support for our military servicemen and women in recognition of the enormous debt of gratitude we owe to those who serve Queen and Country. There are a number of parallels that can be drawn between the UK s Armed Forces and the sport of rugby. The traditions and core values of leadership, teamwork, commitment, discipline, courage, respect, loyalty and camaraderie are all values in which the sport of rugby and the military unite behind and aspire to. It is these values that RUGBY FOR HEROES champions. The rugby community offers a sense of belonging to our returning heroes that is easy for them to recognise and relate to.
