A pre-swimmer registration form MUST be submitted with your registration forms. No entry fees apply but the surcharge fee does. There will be no more than 2 pre-swimmers per figures age group and/or panel and no 2
more than two pre-swimmers per grouping of routines. Coaches/clubs will be contacted by the Meet Manager for confirmation of selected pre-swimmers and their respective schedule. National/International stream open to all, rules as defined by the CASSA rulebook and FINA rules. Figures athletes registered only in a combo may also enter the figures event, 8 & Unders must be swimming a team Solos clubs will be limited to 2 per age group per club Duets Team teams may be comprised of 4-10 swimmers for Stream and 4-8 for National Stream & International Entries Combo All events open to all athletes Canadian entries must be CASSA (Synchro Canada) members Novice event: is for first year competitors that are 11 & over where this option is offered provincially. Only 8 & Unders swimming on a team are eligible for this figures event. 3

AWARDS Medals will be awarded for 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd and ribbons for 4 th, 5 th and 6th for championship score in solo, duet and team as well as combo. A trophy will be awarded in each stream of competition to the club with the highest overall point accumulation. Points information is included in this package. MUSIC Digital music will be used at this competition. Music must be uploaded using the link found at http://www.synchroalberta.com/springtrophy by April 15th, 2014. Music MUST be submitted as follows. The total points earned by the club will be divided by the total entries of the club. DIAGRAM OF TALISMAN POOL LAYOUT SECOND INFORMATION PACKAGE The Figures competition will be held in the Dive Tank. The routines competitions will be held in the South competition pool, the north competition pool will be available for warm up and cool down. Please note that all routines will commence their walk on from the side marked by the star below and to exit the pool at the side marked by the. Spectator Gallery Athlete Area Routine entry point is from the West corner of the competition (south) pool as indicated on the pool diagram above. There is a bulkhead entry point along the width of the pool. Height 0.33 m Width 0.9 m. There will be a curtain between the teach pool and the bulkhead. The width of the walkway between the curtain and the bulkhead is 1.5m. 8
