SPRING MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS John Charles Centre Middleton Grove Leeds LS11 5DJ SAT 21 st and SUN 22 nd April 2018
Well here we are again visiting the John Charles Centre in Leeds, home for some of our Olympic Divers. I am delighted to welcome everyone for our Spring Masters Competition 2018 especially our friends from Europe. I am sure we will have a great event. The programme is extremely tight with over 80 divers so can I please ask divers to be ready to dive and officials ready to judge at the time they are due. Divers need to be ready to go before the dive is announced. Within the Centre are a number of vending machines as well as a cafe selling drinks and snacks. As we are away from the City can I ask divers with vehicles to offer lifts where needed to anyone who does not have transport. To ensure a safe diving environment we need to maintain that only suitably qualified coaches are on poolside coaching divers during training and competitions. Should there be a need to evacuate the building please co-operate with the pool staff as quickly as possible. Many thanks to the Staff at the John Charles Centre for allowing us the use of their facilities. Finally, thanks especially Nina for all her hard work prior to the competition and during.
