Play will be in groups, followed by banded matches resulting in the final tournament placings [see further details in 'general information']. Tournament Regulations & Conditions: 1. This event is open to all male and female players NO age restriction. 2. Every entrant MUST have a TTE player membership, or be a member of another National Association in membership of the ITTF. 3. TTE Tournament Regulations apply to this tournament. 4. ITTF Regulations for International Competitions apply except those relating to the matters covered by items marked (x) in this entry form. 5. Completion and submission of this entry form signifies agreement by the entrant to the regulations and conditions of this competition. 6. Entries - Entry forms shall be submitted with full payment of fees unless otherwise agreed. 7. Each match will consist of best of 5 games, each game up to 11 points with a 2 point difference to decide the winner. 8. All players will be expected to umpire when indicated in their groups or when losing if not a group match, plus all players owe the control table one umpire during the day if asked. 9. The main colour of clothing must be different from the colour of the ball. 10. Players will be expected to play when called, so do not leave the venue at any time without the organiser s permission. 11. ALL players will be expected to honour fully their playing commitments, Should any player fail to do so, that player will be suspended from entering any further events in the series. The only exemption to this is if a player is injured or unwell. 12. Failure to complete your obligations above without a good reason will mean losing your 5 levi fee 13. If you enter and subsequently are unable to play, you MUST notify the organiser as soon as you know that you cannot attend as a reserve player can then be arranged. Someone not turning up on the day without notification can disrupt and spoil it for everybody, failure to do this will mean suspension from future events but extreme circumstances will be considered. 14. When informing you are unable to play you must do so by email and text. 15. All fees are non-refundable unless a replacement is found but exceptional circumstances will be considered 16. No competitor or Official shall engage in betting on players or matches. 17. Doping shall not take place either before or during play. 18. Knocking on vacant tables between matches will be at the discretion of the organiser(s)/referee(s). 19. If a player drops out after stage one who would have qualified for Band two another player available can take their place and will need to pay the levy fee so their games can count. There is no allowing of replacement players during or after stage two. Playing Conditions: 1. Play will be on 5 Tibhar tables with Tibhar posts and nets. 2. Each table will be in an individual court enclosed by surrounds. 3. Each court will be 5 metres wide by 9 metres in length. 4. Minimum height of playing area is 7.5 metres. 5. Minimum height of lighting from floor is 7.5 metres. 6. Lighting is general and by fluorescent and halogen-quartz. 7. Flooring, solid with plastic surface. 8. There are practice facilities in a separate hall. General Information: 1. No assistant umpires will be appointed for matches. 2. Score machines will be used for all matches. 3. Balls used will be white Tibhar 3 * plastic balls 4. Doping control tests may take place. 5. The playing structure is aimed at a maximum of 32 players.
Part one eight groups of four players, all players in a group play each other, the top two in each group go through to band one and players coming third and fourth go into band two, the positions players finish in this section will determine their places in part two Part two - band one and two have four groups of four players, all players in a group play each other, the first, second, third and fourth placed players go into separate sections for part three, the positions players finish in this section will determine their places in part three except to avoid a player they played in stage one until their final match. Part three band one has four sections of four players playing in a mini semi-final grid for final play off matches for positions 1-4, 5-8, 9-12 and 13-16, band two follows exactly the same pattern for positions 17-20, 21-24, 25-28 and 29-32 Venue Information: How to find the venue - full directions are available on www.wensumttc.co.uk Onsite parking is available; there is no venue admission or parking charges for players or spectators. Changing facilities: Players can use a changing room and a shower is available. The club is not liable for any personal property left unattended.
