Hey Kids! I can t believe we are a full month into the 2015 Major League Baseball season! There have already been so many Toronto Blue Jays TM highlights and memorable moments Kevin Pillar that defense! And Devon Travis all those home runs! WOW! With another five more months of the regular season to go who knows what else will happen! One thing I do know though there are lots of things to look forward to being a member of the Jr. Jays TM Club presented by Boston Pizza. Upcoming Events Throughout the 2015 season, the Jr. Jays Club will have a variety of events that are exclusive to our Jr. Jays Club members! Please see below for more information on the upcoming events. Autograph Session Date: Saturday May 23, 2015 Time: Postgame Autograph Session Location: Gate 9A - 100 Level Concourse (By Section 127) IMPORTANT WRIST-BAND POLICY IN EFFECT! The first 250 Jr. Jays Club members in attendance will receive a wristband to gain access to the post-game autograph session. The autograph session is for Jr. Jays Club members-only, no guests, so ensure that you have activated your membership account and bring along your 2015 Official Membership Card. Wristbands will be distributed inside Gate 9A on the 100 Level Concourse (by Section 127) beginning at 12pm. *Limit of one autograph per person per player Photo Day Date: Saturday July 19, 2015 Time: Post-game Additional information and full details will be available in the July edition of the Jr. Jays Club newsletter Blue Jays Socks Giveaway Date: Saturday September 19, 2015 Time: On entry to ballpark Additional information and full details will be available in the September edition of the Jr. Jays Club newsletter Congratulations! As an official Jr. Jays Club member you have the chance this season to win a spot in the Jr. Jays Saturdays Starting Lineups, an autographed Blue Jays kids jersey or the chance to throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch! Congratulations to the following Jr. Jays Club members who are the lucky recipients of Starting Line-Ups spots during the month of May: Congratulations to six-year-old Stephen from Mississauga, Ontario who won a spot in the Starting Line-Ups on Saturday May 9! Stephen is so excited to be a member of the Jr. Jays Club this season and his favourite player is Jose Bautista! On Saturday May 23, we are happy to announce that eight-year-old Jacob from Toronto, Ontario will also be participating in the Starting Line-Ups! Jacob is counting down the days and looking forward to seeing his favourite player, also Jose Bautista! *By activating your 2015 Official Jr. Jays Club membership account you are automatically entered into the Jr. Jays Club Contest.

Welcome! You may have noticed a few new faces in the Blue Jays line-up this season... Below are a few of these new players that you might be starting to recognize: 55 Russell Martin This Canadian catcher signed with the Toronto Blue Jays this past November. Russell was born in Toronto but grew up in Montreal, Quebec. In 2014 he won the Wilson Top Defensive Player of the Year for Catchers when he played with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Russell was also teammates with Jose Bautista when they played together at Chipola College. 21 Michael Saunders Another Canadian! Michael Saunders came to the Blue Jays via trade this past December. Originally from Victoria, British Columbia, Michael now lives in Colorado in the offseason. Michael represented Canada at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and at the 2013 World Baseball Classic! 20 Josh Donaldson Josh came to the Toronto Blue Jays via a trade of third basemen with the Oakland A s. He brings a lot of excitement to the team with all of the home runs he can hit watch out Jose Bautista! Josh was the starting third baseman for the 2014 MLB American League All-Star team.
RUN THE BASES DON T FORGET! Members of the 2015 Jr. Jays Club have the exciting members-only benefit of getting Front of the Line access to Run the Bases each and every Jr. Jays Saturdays here at Rogers Centre. Please see below for important information that you will need to secure your place in line. The lineup for Front of the Line access opens during the top of the eighth inning and runs through to 20 minutes immediately following the end of the ballgame. Please note: If you happen to miss this lineup, don t worry! You will still be able to run the bases with the rest of the kids that day in our general public lineup at Section 108. Please check in with a Blue Jays Staff Member at the ramp by Section 105. Jr. Jays MUST have their 2015 Official Membership Card with them in order to enter the members-only lineup.
