MiniRoos Frequently sked uestions U6 and U7 Parents 2018 Where the detail for 2018 is not available the relevant information for 2017 has been used as a guide. What are the Registration Fees? The registration fees for the U6 & U7 players is $250 per child. For multiple registrations there is a $20 discount for the second child. You can use your ctive Kids Voucher to get a $100 reduction per child. Go to www.service.nsw.gov.au/ to claim your voucher before you register. What do I receive for my fees? For new players this includes a bag, ball and pump (these will normally be distributed to the team managers late March). How do I pay my fees? The online registration process allows fees to be paid by credit card or payment can be made by EFT to Northbridge Football Club BSB 062 215 ccount 1016 5680.

What do I need to purchase? Players are required to purchase their own boots, shin pads, shirts, shorts and socks. Based on 2017 the shirts, shorts and socks were $25, $15 & $12 respectively. Rebel Sport usually has a day where discounts are provided to NFC players which can be used for the purchase of boots etc. When and where can I purchase my uniform? The uniforms can be ordered on our online shop http://www.northbridgefcshop.com.au/nsfa-club-teams/club-team-nfsacompetition-u6-u11.html and then you will receive an email when they are ready to be picked up from Storage King in Chatswood. Dates for pick up will also be published on our website. Where are the games played? ll U6 & U7 games will usually be either at: Bales Park Chatswood Tunks Park Northbridge Blackman Oval Lane Cove Regimental Oval Lindfield

What time do I play my games? Based on 2017: U6s will start from 8.15am to approximately 10.30am U7s will start from 10.00am to approximately 12.30pm. What day do I play? Except for the trial games LL competition games will be played on Saturdays. Due to the timing of summer sports all trials, internal practice sessions are normally held on Sundays. Details and timing to be advised. When does the competition start & end? The first competition game is normally the first Saturday in pril (7 pril 2018). The last competition game is 25 ugust 2018 which is then followed by our Northbridge FC Gala Day at Bales Park. What day does the team practice? The team decides amongst themselves what day suits them. number of fields are available such as Bicentennial Oval, Bales Park, Castle Cove Oval, Willoughby Park, Keary Street and Northbridge Oval. What happens during school holidays? There are always competition games on the first and last Saturday of the school holidays. Normally there are no games on the middle weekend. Northbridge FC runs football camps during the school holidays. How many kids are in each team? The ideal number for each team is 10-12. s 8 kids are on the field at one time this will allow a couple of extras to sub on during the game and also to cover sickness and holidays etc.. Teams can be mixed, all boys or all girls. Subject to team numbers there may be an all girls competition on Saturdays for U6/7. The normal all girl competition starts from U8s and this is played on Sundays. How are teams formed? Normally kids are grouped together by schools. Some parents form teams from class groups and the age co-ordinators will form the balance of teams from kids at the same school. Please ensure when completing the online registration process that the question asking for school attended is completed. ll teams need a manager and coach. The manager is the point of contact with the age co-ordinator. Each coach will be required to complete a 2.50 hour Grassroots Course. This course is practical and encourages the coaches to develop practices based on FUN. The emphasis is on natural development by just playing football. The association and NFC will run these courses starting February 2018. Here is a link to the courses available http://nsfa.asn.au/coaches/education/#grassroots-course What is BB Duty at Bales? The U7 teams each year take turns looking after the BB at Bales Park. The funds raised are used to buy equipment etc.
