The 2018 edition of the Asics Stockholm Marathon will celebrate the 40th anniversary, which makes the race special for all the participants. The competition is one of the best organized marathon in the world. Get your guaranteed entry with Run the Globe and run The City of Fourteen Islands! As mentioned prior this course is taking you through a new route. During your 42.195 K journey, you will run through 7 districts of Stockholm. You will start in Östermalm and finish few blocks away in the Olympic Stadium. Then through Stockholm historical centre Gamla Stan, home to the Royal Palace. More than just running The capital city of Sweden is a fun place to visit. The city is famous for being green. The rivers are so clean that you can swim or fish in the middle of the city. In the early summer nights never get dark, making our stay even more interesting The Stockholm marathon is a big loop of 42.195 Km. For the 40 th edition, we will be running through a new route made for this special occasion. After finishing the race, you will deserve the allimportant Stockholm Marathon commemorative medal!
Our Packages: We proudly offer guaranteed entries; however, the number of spots is limited which makes them available on a first come first serve basis. To secure your guaranteed entry to the Asics Stockholm Marathon you need to purchase one of our traveling packages. You have the choice of these two bundles: Rates per person (2 per room) 3 nights Fri 6 th to Mon 9 th CA $615* *Those rooms are available in the case that 2 runners travel together. However, sharing a room would be possible in the case another runner has the same wish. Our Hotel: We chose to stay at the Clarion Hotel Amaranten. Located perfectly in the centre of the city, you are 25 minutes walking from the starting/finishing line. This 4-star hotel is in the Östermalm area which is in the fancy part of the city. The hotel is in the middle of Stockholm, you will be in walking distance to all main attractions. Moreover, the hotel is close to the marathon which to avoid long walks after the race. The rooms are vast where you will find a locker for your belongings as well as free Wi- Fi.

Payments could be made via Visa, MasterCard, cheque or etransfer within 24 hours after completion of the form. You must read the booking terms and conditions and tick to agree. If you wish to discuss any aspect of the packages, please feel free to contact us. Payment: At the date of registration, the deposit must be payed (consisting of the amount of the guaranteed entry plus half of the cost of the package). The full amount is due 60 days prior the first day of the trip. Booking accommodations: Run the Globe can customize your package if the dates provided in the brochure don t work with your schedule. Airfare is not included in our packages. Booking Changes: If you wish to change any of your booking once confirmed. An administration fee of $50 will be charged. Prices: All prices in this brochure are correct as at November 2017 and are shown in Canadian dollars (Taxes included). Prices are subject to change at any time due to currency fluctuations and until payment is received in full. Unused Services: Refunds will not be provided if due to illness or personal choice you do not utilise part or your entire chosen package. It is advised to apply to insurance on your own. However, in most cases your credit card would cover for this purchase. These will be required by the hotel at the time of checkin.
