December 2014 To Whom It May Concern, Adelaide Lutheran has commenced a new era and we d like you to share in and be part of our future success. 2015 will be our second season with all 3 sporting codes (football, netball and cricket) have amalgamated into a single Adelaide Lutheran Sports Club (ALSC). The new ALSC has big plans, both on and off the field and court. These plans include the eventual addition of new sporting codes with increased year round sporting endeavours and growing player memberships. We would love your support as we continue our new and exciting era. We have a good track record of supporting and promoting our sponsors and partners, and in an environment of growing membership, an increasing number of past players, volunteers and sporting codes, we fully expect this to continue. As a genuinely amateur club your support is extremely valuable to us as it helps us survive and do what we do best - namely provide a fantastic community environment in which young adults can stay active and healthy, and become involved in the friendly culture of Adelaide Lutheran Sports Club. Football Adelaide Lutheran Football competes in the South Australian Amateur Football League (SAAFL), and currently fields 3 teams in this competition with the A and B grade sides currently competing in Division 5 and Division 5 Reserves respectively and the C grade competing in Division C3. The club is in a major push for premiership glory this year after rebuilding in previous seasons. This rebuilding phase has not been without success, with the B Grade winning back to back premierships in 2011 and 2012; and the A Grade making a preliminary final appearance in 2012. With the boys just starting a tough preseason and with a few new recruits out, the boys are looking to take that next step this year. Netball The Adelaide Lutheran Netball Club (ALNC) is in their tenth year of competing in the South Australian Uniting Church Netball Association (SAUCNA). 2014 was another successful year for the Netball Club, with the majority of teams again making finals. Our A2 team won the premiership, and the club was the winner of 2 association awards. The 2014 season saw ALNC put over 150 girls on the court and we are looking to have a similar number of players again in the 2015 season. 2015 will be a year of celebration for the Netball club, we will be launching our new A-Line uniforms and celebrating our 10 th season. Cricket Adelaide Lutheran Cricket fields three sides in the top three grades in the South Australian Churches and Community Cricket Association (SACCCA). We enjoyed recent success in 2013/14 with a double premiership, with the B Grade and C Grade taking out the flag. The B grade and C Grade (in its inaugural year) also won a double premiership in 2011/12. This season, it's looking like we are a high chance of featuring in finals with the A Grade and B Grade both sitting on top of the ladder (at early December).
