The parade starts at Market and Beale and ends at Market and 8th. Civic Center Plaza and surrounding streets will be closed for the Pride celebration. Market Street from Steuart to 8th Streets will be closed until approximately 5PM. Pre-parade heavy passenger loadings are anticipated at Castro and Church with people going to the formation area south of Market in the Embarcadero and Montgomery Station areas. Post-Parade heavy passenger loadings are anticipated at Civic Center and Van Ness with many walking to Castro after the Civic Center festivities close down.
