Welcome to our 14th MADE N AMERCA Bull Sale Customer and Friend, Thank you for taking the time to ad through our sale book. f you have any questions, please ask. Choosing a herd si is an important decision. t affects your herd and your income for years to come. We encourage you to view the bulls befo the sale or come early on sale day. Our job is beding cattle for today s cattlemen and to provide a service to our customers, a job we take seriously. We sold bulls by private taty for 10 years befo having our first sale. We cull a minimum of 12-15% of our cow herd annually based on calf weaning weight (second or third week of August) in lation to the cow s body weight, thus perpetuating the most efficient and pdictable performing cows in our herd. First Year Beding Guarantee All bulls selling for $2,500 or mo will be coved 50% by saacs Cattle Co. if they have a productive tract injury, during their first beding season. Beding season is defined as the 90-day period following the first turnout of the bulls. Fifty percent of the value of the injud bull, minus one-half salvage value, will be given as a cdit in a futu sale or a placement bull if one is available. Salvage value, if any, will be split equally between saacs Cattle Co. and the buyer. All injud bulls must be diagnosed by a veterinarian and be accompanied by a letter from your vet. Please notify us in writing by mail as soon as possible should an injury occur and prior to the injud bull being sold for salvage. All claims must be made by August 1, 2009. Example 1: A $5,000 bull is injud and will not heal. A cdit of $2,500 minus one-half any salvage value will be given to the buyer. Example 2: A $2,500 bull is injud and will not heal. A cdit of $1,250 minus one-half any salvage value will be given to the buyer. Example 3: A $2,450 bull is injud and will not heal. No cdit is given. Buyer tains all salvage value. We will line it up with the stud and deliver your bull to the stud for you. Use his semen on your cows and then clean up with him and his 1/2 brothers (bulls out of the same si). f you choose option 2 or 3, you will need mo than normal bull power as the synchronized group carries through to the first two cycles. Bull Calves Being Developed on Grass This year we didn t get a second cutting of grass so we turned the sale bulls and placement heifers out to pastu and let them harvest it. She s a TC Alliance daughter and 6156 (the heifer bought) is a gat mother cow with a tmendous udder. Last year in Denver our bulls had the largest scrotal and the heaviest WDA in their class. Our average scrotal on four bulls was 42.2. The WDA was 3.66. This was achieved using honest birth dates, birth weights and being weighed and measud in Denver by the Angus Association staff.
