Each team shall enter a team of six players. B) The Match shall be played over 4 days, in the dates already accorded, in a complete Round Robin. C) On the last day, in order to establish the final classification, the two groups will compete with each other according to their final position in their group. 1 st red group vs. 1 st blue group 2 nd red group vs. 2 nd blue group 3 rd red group vs. 3 rd blue group 4 th red group vs. 4 th blue group D) The format of each day s play, in each group, shall be two matches each consisting of 3 games of 18 hole foursomes in the morning and 6 games of 18 hole singles in the afternoon. E) The order of Groups (Two) will be decided by lottery during the team presentation ceremony. F) The order of Matches of each group will be decided by lottery during the team presentation ceremony 1) The Names of the six players selected by each Country shall be notified in writing to the Championship Committee Secretary at the commencement of the Team Captain s meeting on the day preceding the first day s play. 2) Team sheets will be issued to each Team Captain and must be handed in duly completed to the Championship Committee Secretary as follows: 2. a) For day 1 - No later than ¼ hour after the conclusion of the Team Presentation ceremony on the day preceding the first day s play. 2. b) For days 2, 3 & 4 No later of ¼ hour after the final match of the day is concluded. 1
Method of Scoring: 3) No change in the composition or playing order may be made after the team sheet for the next day s play has been handed in. 4) A player who is not on the first teeing ground when his name is called out on or after his time of starting shall be disqualified and the opposing side shall be awarded the game. 5) In the event of a sudden illness, injury or accident or other emergency reducing a team to less than six players. 5. a) If the team sheet for the following day has been handed that individual game will be considered halved, and both teams will share the points. 5. b) For the following days, the injured player will be posted in the last position in the team sheet, and that foursome and individual game will be considered halved, sharing both teams the points. 6) Match Points.- i. Winning Country - 2 match points ii. Halved Match - Each Country gains 1 match point iii. Losing Country - 0 match points 7) Game Points.- Each individual game in each match.- 1 Point for a win ½ point for a halved match 0 point for a loss The winning Country shall be the Country with the highest number of MATCH POINTS. In the event of an overall tie on Match Points the result will be determined in sequence upon: 1) Overall total games won. 2) On the individual match result of the tied Countries. 3) By holes won overall. 4) On the lowest number of holes lost overall. 2
