EXCEPTIONAL GOLF Our Montclair property, designed by Donald Ross and Charles Banks, offers exceptional amenities across 300 acres. Our Montclair Course is considered one of the most unique golf setups in the nation with 36 well-manicured championship holes laid out in four 9-hole courses. Each 9-hole course begins and ends at the Clubhouse and provides a challenging yet enjoyable experience. The 1st, 2nd & 3rd nines were designed by Donald Ross who used the existing terrain to create playable holes that created challenging approach shots to tricky greens. The 4th nine was designed by legend, Charles Steam Shovel Banks, appropriately named so because he often used steam shovels to move massive amounts of earth in creating huge elevated greens and deep bunkers. Our Montclair courses are complemented by a 20,000 square foot practice green, two chipping areas with practice bunkers, a wedge range where you can hit 80 yard shots to targets, and a full size driving range that uses a combination of mats and grass to fit up to 20 golfers. Just 10 minutes away, our Rock Spring property offers members and guests 140 acres atop First Mountain with 18 holes of excellent golf designed by Seth Raynor and Charles Banks. Montclair Golf Club at Rock Spring sits as a Par 71 course which requires skill and shot creativity but remains a playable and enjoyable course for all skill levels. New York City Skyline from Rock Spring ROOMS & CAPACITIES MONTCLAIR LOCATION Board Room: An elegant private room seating up to 24 guests. Wilcox Room: Similar to the Board Room with a seating capacity of 40. Jones Room: A spacious room overlooking the golf course with a seating capacity of 50 guests. Charles Banks Room: A beautiful room overlooking the fairway with a seating capacity of 100 (70 with a dance floor). There is direct access to the outdoor terrace, nearby restrooms and a separate entrance available for convenience. The Lounge: This beautiful area in the center of our Clubhouse will accommodate up to 250 guests and is an ideal location for any large capacity outing. The North Porch: Great outdoor space with amazing views, perfect for a cocktail hour. ROCK SPRING LOCATION Fireplace Room: An elegant private room seating up to 40 guests with a New York City Skyline view and gas fireplace. Living Room: This beautiful area in the center of our Clubhouse will accommodate up to 200 guests (used in conjunction with the Terrace room) and is a wonderful location to host cocktail parties or a predinner gathering before moving into the main dining room. Main Dining Room: An elegant room with breathtaking views of the New York City skyline that is ideal for outings of all kinds. Capacity of 150 comfortably with dance floor and 170 with ballroom chairs and dance floor. With no dance floor, capacity of 200 with ballroom chairs. The Patio: Great outdoor space with a beautiful view, perfect for outings of all kinds. The lower patio also has a working BBQ grill.
