JURISDICTION: 2.1. The abovementioned meeting has been authorised by Motorcycling Australia Northern Territory which has issued the Motorcycling Australia Permit Number 1/18/C/10025 and is open to holders of current Motorcycling Australia National Licences. 2.2. The meeting will be held in accordance with the current General Competition Rules (GCR s), these Supplementary Regulations, and any final instructions approved by Motorcycling Australia Northern Territory. BY ENTERING THIS MEETING ALL PARTIES AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES, REGULATIONS, BY-LAWS AND INSTRUCTIONS. 3. ENTRIES: 3.1. Entries open forthwith. 3.2. In the case of postponement or abandonment of the meeting, all or any part of the entry fee may be retained by the Alice Springs Motorcycle Club if such retention is approved by Motorcycling Australia Northern Territory 3.3. Only entries received on the official entry form that is accompanied by the correct fee will be accepted. 3.4. NOTE:- LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND THE RETURN OF ENTRY FEES FOR ANY RIDER WITHDRAWING FROM THE MEETING IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE ALICE SPRINGS MOTORCYCLE CLUB. 3.5 All riders under the age of 18 must be signed on by a parent or guardian or have in their possession a signed Deed of Appointment sighed by their parent or guardian to be presented to the Race Secretary at sign on. 4 INSURANCE: 4.1. National Personal Accident Scheme provides basic cover for death and permanent disability. 4.2. Ambulance Insurance is compulsory for licensees. 4.3. IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT COMPETITORS GIVE CONSIDERATION TO TAKING OUT WEEKLY BENEFITS INSURANCE. 4. MEDICAL SERVICES: Volunteers from St Johns Ambulance will be in attendance with an ambulance. 5. ENTRY FEE: 5.1. Demonstration class $10 All other junior riders $25 Seniors $35 5.2. Payment by cash, money order or cheque only. ANY FEES FOR DISHONOURED CHEQUES WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ENTRANT. 5.3. Cheques and Money Orders are to be made payable to the Alice Springs Motorcycle Club

CLASSES OF COMPETITION: Mini bikes non competitive Division 2 Peewee 50cc 65cc 85cc Junior 125cc 2 stroke up to 250cc 4 stroke Junior Quads Pro Lite Class: 125cc 200cc 2 Stroke and 0 250cc 4 Stroke Pro Open Class: 255cc and above 2 Stroke, and 400cc and above 4 Stroke Masters Class: 35 years and over, all powers Clubman Class: All powers Quads:All powers 7. AWARDS AND PRIZEMONEY: Each class s points will be accumulated during the series and totalled after final round, each class will be awarded a 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd place trophies. 8. ENTRIES TO CONSTITUTE A CLASS: 8.1. To constitute a class, the number of contestants entered and competing in each class shall be three riders. 8.2. Should there be insufficient entries in any class of competition, the decision to run or cancel the class, or to combine events and re-distribute any awards and / or prize money, will be at the discretion of the Alice Springs Motorcycle Club subject to MANT approval. 9. RACE FORMAT: Each class will compete in 3 rounds. 10. MACHINES AND RIDERS: 10.1. All machines entered must comply with the current GCRs for Motocross competition. 10.2. Multiple entry of the one machine in the same class of competition is not permitted. 10.3. Change of race motorcycle during racing must be approved by Clerk of Course prior to next race, motorcycle must be scrutineered during scrutineering. 11 RIDING NUMBERS: 11.1. Wherever possible, competitors will be allocated their registered riding number or their preferred riding number. All others will be allocated numbers at the Alice Springs Motorcycle Clubs discretion. 11.2. All number plates on all machines MUST comply with the GCRs. 12. GRID POSITIONS: Grid positions will be determined by a peg draw. Riders must pick their own peg, pegs are not to be swapped once drawn by individual rider. 13. RIDERS BRIEFING: A riders briefing will be held prior to the commencement of racing, which ALL competitors MUST attend. Details will be included in the final instructions. 14. DRUG AND OR ALCOHOL TESTING: 14.1. All competitors and officials are advised that as part of the MA drug education program, drug testing may take place at any competition in accordance with Australian Sports Commission policy as implemented by the Australian Sports Drug Agency. 14.2. If any doubts exist over banned substances it is recommended competitors contact the Drugs in Sport Hotline, tel 1800 020 506. When drug testing takes place, the payment of prize money may be delayed at the MANT discretion until the results of the tests are known. 15. CODE OF CONDUCT: All competitors, officials and parents are reminded of the Motorcycling Australia by-law - CODE OF CONDUCT (as stipulated in the GCRs), which is a guide to appropriate behaviour at all motorcycle race meetings. This CODE OF CONDUCT applies to this Meeting and will be enforced. 16. TIMETABLE: Scrutineering: 7.30 am 8.15 am Riders Brief: 8.30 am Practice: 9.00 am Racing will commence after the completion, of 2 sighting laps for each class. For the purposes of drug and alcohol testing, the commencement of the meeting will be deemed to be 7.30 am Sunday 18 th February 2018 with the completion of the meeting for the participant being when the participant has vacated the venue. 17. CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION: Man made jumps, straights, and banked corners. 18. STARTS: Will be the 30-second board and drop gates. 19. RACING: All classes will complete 2 sighting laps. Racing as follows:

NOISE: GCR noise emissions must not exceed 102 Db (a) unless a lower limit is provided for in S.R. or in a discipline specific chapter of these rules. 21. GST: The Goods and Services Tax affects the payment of prize money. If you do not provide an ABN or declare the sport is a hobby, the Promoter must withhold 48.5% of prize money over $50.00, which is otherwise payable to you. Please tick one of the boxes on the entry form and if appropriate provide your ABN to ensure the full amount of prize money is paid to you. 22. SPECIAL NOTES AND WARNINGS: 22.1 Entry to the track is free. There will be canteen and bar facilities available. 22.2 All children under the age of 10 years, must be accompanied by an adult in the pit area. 22.3 Motorbikes will not be ridden in the pit area. 22.4 Alcohol is not permitted in the pit area. 22.5 All riders will enter exit the track at the chute located adjacent to the shaded pit area. 22.6 Riders or their representative may compact or remove dirt at the start line. The repair will not extend past a bike length either side of the start gates. 22.7 All riders must provide a person to conduct duties at the track on race day. 22.8 No dogs allowed, Guide Dogs only, allowed. 22.9 Use of tear-off is optional
