Why Start Youth Tier 2 Program Over the years Team Ohio maintains an outstanding reputation and A Tradition of Excellence within the Pre Post Hockey world Team Ohio has a 2 sheet facility at Winterhurst Ice Arena giving us the ability to start a youth program. If we didn t have the facility we could not do this. We finally have a place to call home! We are not looking to be a Tier 1 Organization. We want to become the #1 Tier 2 Youth Organization in the country.
Why Start Youth Tier 2 Program Hockey Fees- We believe that we can provide a great place to play with not breaking family s banks. All family s will see teams budget so there are no hidden agendas or fees. At this time in Cleveland we have several organizations. We are not trying to create more of a watering down effect in our program. We just want to offer the best opportunity for the AA players and family s So the idea is to reduce the number of tier teams, concentrate on the tier players into one organization, and focus on giving the players and family s the best resources to be successful.
Example of Team Ohio Youth Team Budget Practices- 56 practice slots starting last week of August. Showcase Season Showcase season begins the end of March or early April. This season I would like to take our Youth teams and do a spring season. They can play in as many events local or away. In the past we would have a mix of players but with having a youth team we should get kids to play spring. All teams will practice weekly to prepare for showcases/events Open enrollment is already available at teamohio.com.
Team Ohio Spring League Team Ohio runs an spring league every year open to all players heading into 8 th Grade to Seniors in High School. This has been highly successful vs most spring leagues. Last season we had 12 teams in two divisions. Open to first 200 players
