Austria Trip safety 2007 Our main priority on this trip is for your child to have a fantastic fun experience and for them to remain safe for the entire trip. We have completed a detailed risk assessment for this trip and have put procedures in place to ensure your child's safety. We will discuss the risk assessment with all pupils so that they understand our responsibilities and their responsibilities to us.
Ski Austria lesson 2007 safety Whilst on the slopes your child is in the care of the ski school staff and in case of an emergency they will take control of the situation. During ski school hours a member of staff will always be on call or will be located at a café at the bottom of the slopes if students are unable to take part in ski lessons through injury. It is compulsory for all students and staff on the trip to wear a ski helmet this simple strategy drastically reduces the chances of head injury in the event of a skiing accident.
Our Austria behaviour 2007 policy We expect good behaviour from ALL pupils on this trip and WILL not tolerate poor behaviour from anybody. We have asked you to sign an agreement about your child s behaviour, so that we are all in agreement with the sanctions we have chosen. The main sanction we will enforce is a skiing ban. The duration of which will depend on the severity of the behaviour. We hope that this will deter pupils form poor behaviour.
Austria 2007 Cases of extreme behaviour In very rare and unanticipated circumstances pupils may exhibit behaviour so extreme that the only sanction warranted is for them to be sent home. In the very unlikely event that this happens in Austria we will expect parents/guardians to pay the full cost of repatriation to the U.K. Any activity illegal in the U.K will almost certainly warrant this sanction.
Austria Return 2007 We will have dinner on Friday night and we leave Bad Ischl at approximately 7.00pm We will be booked on a ferry on Saturday 17th February. We aim to arrive home sometime on the Saturday afternoon. We will ask students to ring you once we are back in the UK to let you know what time we will be back at school
